Science mad brought revolution in human life all over the world and we may call present age the age of Nuclear Weapons because in future war will be with nuclear weapons through computer technology. Scientists have increased the power of computers now in modern age the computer may drop atom bombs anywhere on earth through the help of computers.
Science has also crossed many ages since its creation now in modern age science is very powerful in all countries especially in USSR and USA both are super powers and have countless chemical weapons and laser technology that is used by just fire waves and destroys everything within seconds. Russia is the master of laser technology in modern age and this technology USA does not have still.
The history shows that terrorists buy chemical weapons from the countries that make it for sale purpose and no one can stop the countries that are selling chemical weapons to the terrorists. Besides the negative effects of science there are many positive effect of science. We can say that science has duel effect a positive and a negative effect.
Science is the study of Nature and Natural Laws and those who study them are called scientists but in Quranic language are called Momins. In modern language it is called technology. Technology is the study of using scientific knowledge for practical purpose in the society for human being’s benefits. The scientists investigate natural laws and find how they work according to their nature.
According to the laws of nature everything is used in two ways: 1. in a negative way, 2. in a positive way. But it depends on our thinking how we use it in practical field either for the construction of people or for the destruction of people. In the real sense, science has controlled eighty per cent diseases major and minor. When we see 2000 years ago about seven out of eight babies died before reaching their first birthday due to yellow fever, small pox, typhus, typhoid…but in modern age all these are under controlled. Hundreds of years ago man’s age was 30 years but science has increased it 40 to 70 years. Today’s babies are born in hospitals in a safe way. It is due to the positive aspects of science.
Science has provided us more and better food. 200 years ago we could not get fresh food of many kinds. Today science has made it hundred per cent possible. Now we can get all types of fresh food and fresh water throughout the year without losing vitamins and minerals.
Science has changed our thoughts and behavior. Today our thinking pattern is nice, positive and peaceful. All types of superstitions have disappeared to greater extent. Science had taught us that everything rests on cause and effect. Today we are not afraid of anything in this world.
But on the other hand, science has created most horrible weapons for the destruction of mankind. World War first and second was fought with help of science and technology. It is the first biggest effect of science on human beings. The second greatest effect of science human beings is that we have forgotten… human values, religion, culture, art and God the Maker of the Universe human values, religion, culture, art and God the Maker of the Universe and the purpose of man on this earth.
We must keep in mind when any crime on earth increase the laws of nature acts swiftly when human beings fail to stop that crime. Nature revenges upon man via four ways: air, fire, water and earth. These are the biggest pillars of nature to balance natural laws on earth. The thinkers of the world warning the foolish world rulers to stop crimes against men and nature in the name of science otherwise the laws of nature will overthrow the kingdom of men on earth at once.
To sum up, In the name of science we are wasting our natural resources that nature has reserved for human beings protection on earth in different shapes. But science and technology both are used by men and men should think how to use them for destruction purposes or for construction purposes.
