True love is developed in stages, true love is love that attracts, has a continuous process that keeps on and on, and never stops coming from your beloved or reaching to the one you love. Love your neighbor, friends and relatives
This could be any one your, parents, your friends, your spouse, your children or your neighbors, anyone in this world, even the other creatures add to the list whom you love which do not speak your language but understand you and your love through your expressions and the smiles you give them.
The love only gives, that is love for you and if you are demanding it is no love, nothing that sounds selfish is love. The basics of love teach you to give only which is the most common rule of love, but in this world of lust and desire one finds it so difficult to be that way though.
The other way of love is as we know and relate it with religion only. In this case everyone is free to have his choice to attach himself and love someone according to his own faith. One has all the ways open one wishes to express, however, his sometimes we find some views, imposing and forceful, but that is one way of love towards the one they feel for Him.
If you love Him that way, there is no harm because that is your choice that is your right, your decisions and your chosen way of belief in Him. Lots of people like it that way. God Bless you. This is one way of showing your love to the Mother Nature with due regards for Almighty.
Love is your choice. You can see your lover in whatever you want. If you have faith in stones and trees you can worship them in your own way but I have my own way of loving same stones and tress apart from worshiping them, I look at them and feel inspired.

True love comes into many way of interpretations. As you had mentioned, true love strikes in our heart and can bring happiness from within. My interest in helping other people is also a true love. Loving of myself is true love too. If we know how to love ourselves, we are ready to share the real meaning of true love to someone or others.
Love is best seen as devotion and action, not an emotion. Love is not exclusively based on how we feel. Certainly our emotions are involved, but they cannot be our only criteria for love. True devotion will always lead to action—true love.
To be open to true love is to truly be vulnerable. It is allowing yourself that quiet ease that comes with knowing your partner honors and cares for you. It is realizing everything you do has someone’s heart attached. We can worry about the next person that comes along. We can be on guard looking for the one that comes to steal that person away. For men, this is almost ingrained into our psyche. We must defend our love and always be on guard. For those who have been hurt, it comes even harder. Step back and see this; you never lost someone because you weren’t running off everyone else, although you could definitely lose someone by refusing to have faith in them. To grow from love to true love, let go and know that if it is true love, every day they choose you.
