Thesee are the few step that can guide you to living a more efficient and healthy lifestyle:

1. DRINK MORE WATER: it is recommended that a person should at least drink 7-8 glasses of water per day.

2. GET ENOUGH SLEEP: when you don’t rest well, you compensate by eating more. Usually junk food, this tends for you to gain more weight, that can lead to various illness such as: diabetes.

3. MEDITATE: meditation quietens the mind and calms your soul.

4. EXERCISE: not just a few times a week, but everyday. Movement is life. Research show that exercise brings tremendous benifits to you health.

5. EAT MORE FRUITS AN VEGETABLES:  Fruits are a plethora of vitamins and minerals. Do you know that oranges offer more health benefits than vitamin C.

6. CUT DOWN ON PROCESSED FOODS: processed foods are not good because 1. most nutritional vaLue is lost in making of these foods 2. the added preservatives are bad for your health.

7. BREATHE DEEPLY: oxygen is a vital source of life, you may no how to breathe, but are you breathing properly.

8. CUT OUT ON SODA AND CAFFEINE: Drinks with caffeine and diuretics, meaning they speed up the rate of urine production. Hence these drinks do not contribute to you 7-8 glasses of water requirements.

9. DO NOT DRINK ALCHOHOL: like caffeine, alcohol is diuretic.

10. PREPARE YOUR MEALS: Lately I am beginning to appreciate the value of preparing my own meals. When you prepare your own meals, you control what goes into them.

11. STOP SMOKING: It is long proven that smoking is detrimental to health.

12. HAVE HEALTHY SNACK: if you’re hungry during work, eat healthy snacks like fruits, salads and fruit juices. These are nutritional and don’t give you that sugar rush.

13. GO ON A VEGAN DIET: A vegetarian is someone who does not consume animal products. this means no cheese, diary, milk etc.

14. EXERCISE GOOD DENTAL HYGIENE: Not only does good dental hygiene makes you a lot more desirable, it is linked with better health. Brush your teeth twice a day, rinse your mouth after each meal and floss your teeth at night.

15. HANG OUT WITH HEALTHY PEOPLE: The more healthy people you hang out with, the more your mind will be focus on healthy lifestyle. there will be healthy conversation taking place and so yourself will realize the benefit of healthy living.

    • I must agree that in order to eat healthily, we should hang out with people who also lives and eat healthily.

      Though, in this age of fastfoods we cannot resist the temptation of burger, French fries and fried chicken. Maybe eating them once in a while or twice a month won't hurt our health.
