Time is life

I have listened to Many folks and heard them say that time is money; but is this the way it is supposed to be or to be said? Time is not just money, time is life.  Time and life are both four letter words. None is greater than the other and the two are fellow siblings – Siamese twins. Whoever values his life must also value his time as precious as his or her own life.

 One would ask, how does someone value his time? How does someone make good use of this singular precious gift of God to mankind called time? The key here is discipline and proper planning. Before you go to bed every night, you should already know or have a picture of how your tomorrow is going to pan out.  So pick out a pen and paper, list out all the things you think you should achieve for that day. Then list them according to their order of priority, noting which one is of more importance than the other.  You can also go ahead to allot time to each of the tasks on your list. When allotting this time, you must assess yourself properly truthfully noting your abilities, strength, means and potentials.

Now that you have it on paper, the next thing is to discipline yourself and follow what you have planned to achieve for the day. Immediately you wake up in the morning, press on your number one task and pursue it vigorously till you see it completed. You can tick it out as completed and follow the next one. When you set out tasks and complete them, there is this sense of fulfillment you normally get that gets you satisfied and pumps you up with vigour to follow the next task to completion.

Your time is your life. So accord it the necessary respect it needs. You will definitely reap the fruits of proper use of your time. The satisfaction alone will leave you panting for more.
