There Should be no Shame in Celebrating African American History

No race should feel bad about uplifting their culture. “No persons should make anyone feel bad about about loving their ethnic background.” There shouldn’t be any competition. There’s one month out of the year where African Americans celebrate their culture and although it appear as if the celebrations aren’t much. There are a lot of African Americans very proud of their culture despite what’s been said or done. There are some who display hate, organizations which encourage hate, and that’s not what African Americans are trying to do.

There’s a lot of competition between races. Not allowing African Americans to be expressive isn’t a healthy move. “African Americans have rights” as well as any other race. If an African American is being recognized in some way then there’s an upset when there’s no need. Loving our people isn’t a sin. Doesn’t mean that African Americans don’t love other races just means they’re proud of their achievements and where standing today.

We still have a long way to go. There’s been a lot of “misunderstandings” when it comes to the African American culture. Some unwilling to understand the culture. Misjudging and not allowing the expressiveness. Having some feeling bad about being African American. There shouldn’t be any dismay about being African American. Some afraid to say a word because of the backlash received. Not fair. Hispanics have a month where there’s continuous celebrations. Big festivities taking place and there’s nothing wrong with celebrating any culture.

Why is there a need to fight when African Americans want to uplift their people? The whole black and white movement can become quite ridiculous. There’s a month held so African Americans can celebrate the culture. Why not? African Americans did suffer through slavery and some are in modern day slavery. It’s all about fairness. Every time there’s something happening for African Americans there’s a sense of disagreement. There’s no need to have such feelings. We’re allowed to celebrate. That’s a “right and a choice.”

One African American being acknowledged and here comes a crowd of White people becoming displeased. Doesn’t make any sense. There shouldn’t even be a battle between races. Racial slurs floating around because of the expressiveness. God created African Americans to be African American. That’s what He wanted. Any African American feeling bad about being African American shouldn’t feel bad at all. Be glad.
