The Upside of America for Americans

Way back, in the 1950s, America used to trawl Jamaica for domestic servants, hospital and farm workers.  For whatever reason, America had a dearth of such persons seeking employment, so set upon Jamaica.   Jamaicans would go up to the United States and work, and often, never come back.

The domestic workers, those who did the grunt work in hospitals, never returned.  The Farm Workers, (the programme is still in effect) go through a Government to Government procedure so go and return.  They would return with bags of money, lots of stories,  and often return to the United States again and again, until over the age.

Since the 1950s, America has become a bit more ‘predatory’.

Americans come down to Jamaica and search and find the best nurses, and abduct them.   They make our nurses an offer they can’t refuse.

Americans pick and choose and select the best nurses, and fly them up to America.  These nurses almost never come back, save in retirement.   This has caused a shortage of nurses; nay, a shortage of the best nurses, because we’ve got a battalion of Nurse Ratchet, (A cold, heartless tyrant, from One Flew Over the CooKoo’s Nest) and the filthiest most incompetent filling our hospitals.

Despite having constant training programmes, despite having full enrolment in our nursing schools, we can’t match the demand.   This is because, any nurse that shines is abducted.

To make up the shortfall we have to import nurses from Cuba.

As bad as that is, since the 2000s America has captured many Techies.   They head hunt the best Engineers, programmers, I.T. experts, and capture them.  They capture them and force them to live in America and make pots of money.

This means, sadly, anyone in Jamaica is 2nd best, because the 1st Class have been exported.

Hopefully, in Trump’s programme to ‘Make America Great Again’, he will cancel the work VISAs for our best and brightest, and ship them back here.

Sure, the returned Jamaicans will be sad, and briefly unemployed, but then, as they flash their qualifications, they will be put to work, here.

And Jamaica will benefit from their expertise and experience.
