The falling leaves: The changing weather

I noticed it this morning during my morning walk session that wind was blowing little too harder and as the wind blew the leaves from the trees were at a faster rate too. I also noticed that even it was so early in the morning but the weather looked different. Probably the summer will be a little warmer compared to last year.

I feel the weather is fast changing in most north Indian states and the temperature which was pleasant until a couple of days before is fast becoming dry and hot. The months of spring are March and April and summer begins from the third week of April is almost here so it gives me a shock thinking about May and June.

As per weathermen they expect a better monsoon this year but if I remember right there was no rain throughout July last year and very little in August and September which are our peak rainy months.

Let me come back to my main topic, the bulk of leaf fall in trees that is common here is by the end of March but I am surprised to see that even after two weeks have passed of April but the leaves are falling at such an amazing rate that some of the trees have very few leaves left.

To be very frank, when I see a leafless tree it makes me feel sad rather reminds me of death. It’s a pure negative feeling watching so many dry leaves lying down on the green grass so carelessly that gives such a feeling that I would certainly avoid writing about.

I would rather go back in my memory and about my walks in Himalayan jungles full of deodar trees, the sweet fragrance in the air, cool breeze. I had been in hilly areas in March and April too and have watched falling leaves but that doesn’t feel as bad as the leaves go out of sight deep down the hills.
