You have probably heard the term; “Dark Web”, and maybe shudder. You may assume that is where criminals congregate, drug deals go down. and kiddie porn rules.
That isn’t wrong, but it isn’t all there is.
There are places on the World Wide Web which one can’t easily access.
Places that aren’t easily hacked.
The information exists in what can be called ‘Dark Nets’ which are used to overlay networks the public has access to.
The Dark Web is a part of what is called the ‘Deep Web’, that is, the part of the Web ignored by search engines.
Some Deep Web sites are completely harmless and common, but are simply left out of searches, (i.e. when Google decides to block information put on writing sites.)
The Dark Nets which make up the Dark Web include small, friend-to-friend or peer-to-peer networks, such as private connections which exist inside of an agency or business.
Hence that private network which exists in a company among the employees can not be assessed from outside the company, because it has no connection to the Web itself.
In truth, that harmless connection would be labelled “Dark Web” because it is not accessible by the public. But as you can see, it is far from a criminal organisation.
To enter the Dark Web itself one needs to gain software from popular networks like Freenet, I2P, and Tor. This software allows you to make a connection to a site using that browser. That connection is secret.
The Tor dark web is sometimes called “Onionland’, which is a reference to the network’s top level domain suffix .onion and the way traffic is kept anonymous.
For the key feature of the Dark Web is that there is no connection between the user and the sites visited.
For example, if you bank online it suits you to use Tor, and enter the Dark Web. Your connection to Tor will not be from your I.P. to that bank. It will be routed all over the world, so that the possibility of hacking your bank account is not happening.
Suppose you wanted to know about Daash. You might be wary of typing that into a Google Search as Google keeps records of every search you ever did, and it is not beyond thought that Security Agencies might be very interested in what you are doing, so you could wind up on a watch list.
Doing a search using the Dark Web is safer for even if you go to Google using the Dark Web they can’t track you.
In fact, using the Dark Web for simple things, like logging on to common sites protects you from piles of advertisements.
Although the Dark Web has its’ darkness it isn’t all danger.

This is the first time I have come to know about this. May be our antivirus software puts some of our information in this category specially our bank transactions. It asks us if we want to connect through a safe connection.
Perhaps, but I prefer to use Tor, I know my connection is safe. It's not hard to use it.
That's a good information and never known its terms. I guess we just still need to be careful in joining sites. They can steal all the personal information just to get something.
Right... so I use Tor; it's dark web, it routes me all over the world. You can get it.. free of course.
