Stress is a Natural Response

Stress is a natural response to the emotional, physical and mental stresses of various kinds. Stress is actually a vital reaction in the body that sets in motion various stress hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline and noradrenaline to give you energy and extra power which can be used when you feel some danger or feel inadequate in a stressful situation. Stress is extremely individual and arises to restore the imbalance between ambient and your own requirements based on your personal resources. For ancient men, stress was a way of perceiving danger to keep the senses and body in readiness either to flee or fight and to survive.

In the society we live in today, stress has come in everyday life in a completely different way and also had a slightly different character when the lack of time and the feeling of inadequacy have increased a great deal. This is when you feel insecure, that you lose control and lacking something which indicates that the risk of stress increases. Stress often arises as a result of your thoughts, the daily thoughtfulness. The body has been difficult to see the difference between the thoughts and the real physical danger that is lurking round the corner and therefore creates the same bodily reactions to both.

You can also feel stressed when the expectations and challenges of your everyday life, the requirements and the press gets too big on you. Stress nothing but the body’s defense to these reactions. Positive, short term stress can increase motivation and concentration. That is when the stress develops into extended stress and do not subside as it starts to become grave which ultimately can lead to burnout, multiple illnesses, depression and at worst sleep problems. Stress should be viewed as a natural psychosomatic biological reaction by the individual strains, which in turn leads to various physical reactions.

    • I don't doubt that stress is a natural response. In fact, it might be better described as a “survival instinct”. But one definitely needs to control their stress levels. If they don't learn how to manage stress, it could ruin their health or even kill them!

    • Our bodies have gotten so over stressed today that it's killing us. We run around, constantly worrying, keeping our bodies in such a state of hyperarousal that we wear ourselves down. This leads to us being more vulnerable to illnesses - both physical and mental. We need to de-stress our lives to survive!

    • estress comes from nervous and live attention and it must really controlled if dont do that you will go on it and never can run out

    • Nothing can be so good both to the body and the mind of any individual than taking out quality time to give the body quality rest.

The human body has inbuilt mechanisms of refreshing itself when it is given the opportunity to do so. Many of the health challenges and sicknesses we witness today can actually be cured if the body is given proper rest but in the absence of this, stress is the result.
