Today is March 13, 2017. It is my understanding that there is a day of celebration going on in India. Something called the Holi Festival. I know that the Literacy Base blogging community has active members from India, so I figured there must already be some posts published where I could learn more. On Pinterest, I maintain a pinboard called Cultural Diversity where I share links pertaining to various cultures. My alternate name for is “My Diversity Corner”. There’s a story behind how this board came to be. It’s the result of a personal blog that was discontinued. In addition to the board, I also have a collection on Scoop.it labeled Soceity & Culture. The purpose for both of these groupings should be obvious, but in case it isn’t I’ll make my intentions plain.

For me, I love colors! I even maintain a pinboard called Splashes of Color. 🙂 The idea of a holiday or a festivity that celebrates colors sounds like huge fun!!
