Maybe you spend too much time on activities that not worth your time? It can be a lot of video daily, it can be internet you are surfing for hours, it can be a lot of television series and shows, it can be even a lot of eating and a lot of alcohol… And this list can be continued by you and me. Just look at your life seriously. How you spend your time? And where you spend most of your time? Do these activities give you much value? Does this lead you to a better life you dream of? If not, you need to revise your daily activities and make changes.
You like to complain too much. I know many people who are continually dissatisfied with their life, and they never stop talking about it. Are you one of them? You are complaining about your work, bad boss, your salary, your neighbors or your spouse? If so, you do not change anything, but only seeding negative energy around you. Comments are pushing you into a dead end. Try to talk about what you like, not what you do not like, and the result will come unexpectedly.
You do not give the work to your mind. If you do not grow and do not progress as a person, then you freeze – as a silent reservoir, which over time has been covered with mud. The same is going with your mind, if you do not give work to your mind, you cannot learn new things. Problems and challenges trains and harden your mind.
Your inside is full of negative discussions with yourself. Internal dialogue can be disastrous for you. If you say yourself that you are lack courage or you are not smart enough to accomplish something, to become successful – that will be truth. What do you say ever about yourself, it becomes your reality. Control your thoughts and life will respond to them.
You do not feel inspiration. Do you feel the passion to something? There are a lot of people who think that they have no passion. But this is not true. There must be something that you like. So, you need to discover what excites you, and then engage in that.
You do not plan your future. Although it is always a pleasure to live now and to be at the moment, sometimes you should look ahead, to your future, to see where you want to go. Having no any plan and goal means that you are like an alone boat wandering in wide ocean without any aim, and hoping to one day dock somewhere where is good. But you cannot do that. You have to make a step-by-step plan to get there. Just like a GPS leads you to your destination, you need your internal GPS to guide you.
You spend too much of your time with people who do not contribute to your growth. It is easy to get stuck with people who do not allow you to feel a better person. But if you continue it, then you’ll remain stagnant or they will drag you after themselves. I call them energy vampires. Such people simply suck the life out of you and give you nothing positive in return. Instead, go look for growth-oriented people around you.
You are dependent on your phone. Of course, cell phones are wonderful gadgets that can enchant us when we use them. While its fun, but think about all the time that you spend with your phone. Even worse, think of all the relationships that can be affected. Maybe you write sms or surf the Internet, over dinner with your spouse or children. If so, you lose the chance to time, which you can usefully spend with your loved ones – or the time that you can devote to development of future plans.
You spend money on things that are not important. There is a difference between the need and want. I’m sure we all learned about it already in kindergarten. However, in modern society, we are not seeing boundaries between these concepts. In fact, I know people who cannot pay their loans, but still has newest gadgets on the planet. If you think of, there are very few things that we really need. Food, water, shelter, and love are some of these things. All the rest is just accessories. So, watch for what you spend your money and think about what you can change. Maybe you can use the saved money to invest in your future.
You do not leave your comfort zone. I know how easy it is to live in the comfort zone. Leaving your comfort zone can bring risks that could improve your life. And do not forget, there is a difference between risk and calculated risk. Any risk is the probability of being decisive, but the calculated risk is one in which you weigh all possibilities and so you make your own good, reasonable plan of actions.
You live life, which you do not like. A method to evaluate the success is to assess someone’s happiness level. Are you happy? If not, then you should make a difference! Even satiety or a feeling of satisfaction still does not show that you live a full life. Life should be fun! So, if you’re not enjoying life, you should take a look at what the changes you can make for your life in order to get into a better position.
You lack of sleep. Every man knows how it is vitally important is sleep. I could write many pages about it, but I obviously do not have enough space in this short article. Sleep is very important for good health. If you cannot sleep enough because you are too or if you just have a bad habit of work up to 3 am in the morning, you need to re-evaluate your habits.
You do not care about your body. Not only the sleep is very important to your health, it is important is diet and exercise. I know I do not say you anything new, what you already could not know. But eating a balanced, healthy diet and doing lots of movement, you get much more than just body weight control. It affects your mental health and general well-being. So, look at your diet and activity level. You may notice that by making a few small changes, you can significantly improve your life.
Believe that you can make changes. But the first change you need to do is get rid of the thought that you cannot do anything. In most cases, your biggest obstacle is your thinking process. So, start with that. Change your thinking – and then change your life!

I think most people waste a lot of time on things that don't add value to their lives at all. Then people mock me for spending time on my bullet journal even though it creates more time for me in the long run by making me more productive. People make me laugh when they say they have 'no time' then spend hours on facebook everyday. x
