What do you share on social media?

Everyone wants as much traffic to our posts as we probably can, but most of us are struggling to get the views or readers for one reason or the other. We feel we wrote something outstanding, gave it a great heading, keywords and waited patiently assuming it will bring tons of views on our blog or post but when you checked your post’s stats the next morning you found the number of views was nothing compared to your expectations.

But does that mean you write anything and post it on Twitter or Facebook or any other social media? Maybe Twitter accepts such content to some extent but Facebook is different.  I have been watching closely that many sites do not give/share benefits of the views with their authors. However, sharing your work on sites like Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, Tumblr, Rediff, Dilicious, Digg, My Space and Stumbleupon has its own direct and indirect benefits in the long run. Most of us have an impression as if everyone that follows us is waiting for our posts because they have nothing else to do.

You must watch the new guidelines for posting on Facebook as most of us use Facebook regularly and must know the rules. According to Facebook rules they will no more allow porn especially the naked photos of anyone . New Facebook guidelines say, maybe some of you do not like their rules but your posts might not be appropriate for certain users or societies. According to Facebook sources they will not object to educational, humorous photos up to some extent but videos in porn category or other sex related will not be allowed in any case.

Apart from sexual content/photographs Facebook will not allow threatening, prompting someone to suicide, targeting celebrities, or sexist remarks will be not be allowed. So, be careful what you post on Facebook to avoid deletion of your account. The message is clear you can no more use your superior strength or influence to intimidate forcing anyone to do something.

    • I just share social things on Facebook with my friends. Nothing of great importance at all really. I just got my Twitter account going again, I had only been using it to direct message a friend for over a year. Now I am going to start using it again to promote my writing here. It will be interesting to see if it helps as far as things here are concerned.

    • @Lola I suggest you to add your ref-link while you share anything published on this site on social media, that will make a big difference.
