SEO is a big farce

There is a site with an editor who is obsessed with SEO. This editor rewrites posts and believes they are made SEO friendly. In the process the articles are murdered. The writer’s style is totally cramped leading to many leaving that site.

Expression such as ‘I love the sun’ is rewritten as ‘Sun worshipper’ embarrassing the blogger.

My experience over the years is that the more a blog is viewed the more Ads will pop up and for this one does not have to bend backwards. Here at LiteracyBase we have some bloggers who have thousands of followers at various social networking sites. If one blog is shared there just imagine how many views that blog will receive and in turn  the number of times Ads will be viewed.

Here is a post I wrote at Persona Paper now extinct and there in a matter of days I got 107 views. I just wrote that post without bothering to share, nor make it SEO friendly.

And then we have myLot where we do not even share nor do they dictate to us how a post should be written.

I like LiteracyBase as we have the freedom here to stick to our style of writing and writers love it that way. We are required to share our blogs to as many sites as possible. And that is how every other site functions. I have been on several sites and the only reason why some have closed down is because there was a lot of spamming and this was overlooked by the site owners and not because the blogs or posts were not SEO friendly..

I raise this champagne glass to all writers in the world. Just write but do not break rules. Write quality and unique posts, write in good English and ofcourse the longer the post longer will the Ads stay.
