Safety on the internet is not what it was

Safety on the internet is not what it was before. I know cases when people had a privacy breach and they decided t o completely delete their Facebook accounts for the benefit of their beloveds because somebody of the family was either jealous or somebody find it too dangerous.
I had both cases in my near family and friends who suffer from the privacy breach. What does that mean? It means somebody stole their pictures and they made another profile exactly the same, added their family and friends and then again stole data and make more profiles.
I fail to understand what they are doing with all that profile farms, but it is what I heard that they are selling them or making followers – fake followers – and making money selling them like real friends.
All that real followers ( they are all fake let face it!) can make you thousands of dollars if you maintain them properly and sell them to the highest bidder for celebrity or seller accounts following base.
In a long run, this is absolutely useless, because nobody is actually watching your sales or your page, but people with a lot of fake followers usually attract more real people to press that Like button, so everything turns well for people who are ready to invest more money into their promotions, and their profiles.
So, when you open your profile in any social network to the public you are opening yourself to the marketers who are not interested in anything but making a good deal of money with all the data you may have in your profile, including pictures, friends and family photos.
They are so unscrupulous they will even steal a profile of an elementary school girl ( or a boy) to make more data for their following base.
So, now in this time, we don’t need to worry if somebody will steal our credit card data because those things are iron sealed with 20 seals and protected with high-tech revolutionary whatever method I have no idea about – but we have to worry if somebody will snatch our profile image.
In case you look good, you have the pretty and likable face, or your face is symmetrical – you don’t need to be lovely if you are symmetrical in facial features – you have multiple times bigger possibility to be robbed of your identity.
A good looking people usually have more friends on the social networks, and can acquire bigger numbers of real followers and friends, much easier than other who are average or even considered ugly.
The good thing is that average user of an internet today already starts to doubt if a person is real if he sees a lovely face.
I know that some other people had exactly the same problem but them I never expected to see that happen to anybody close to me that I know.
But, I know one thing, nobody wants to be internet famous because somebody created a fake profile of him or her. Unless, and this is a big exception, you are some popular celebrity and in that case your fans and followers wants to be like you – but then again, if you are fan , please put a disclaimer it is a fan account.
