Running like a Fine Tuned Machine

In Jamaica, our favourite comedy programme is a Trump Press Conference.

There he comes, the President of the United States of America, once that awesome neighbour to our north, now the Greatest Circus on Earth.

As the POTUS appears on stage,  seeming to have had two or three too many, painted Orange, with that ridiculous wig, we have to laugh.

Then, there is the  way he stands, as if something is kind of jammed up a back passage to keep him steady.

As stupid as he looks, when he speaks, we have to burst out in laughter.  He sounds stupider than a drunk begging on the side of the road.  He repeats himself over and over as if punch drunk as garbage spills out of his mouth.

He attacks the press for telling the truth.   He claims they are dishonest, but everyone knows, no one is more dishonest than he is.   Things have gotten so bad that even Pravda, the Russian newspaper said it; You have to be drunk to understand Trump.

Mothers are disciplining their sons;  “See that man?  That’s what happens to you when you lie!”

Just yesterday after twenty seven days in office,  beginning with  ‘alternative facts’,  when it was clear his inauguration was not well attended, moving on to alienating Mexico with that stupid wall idea, then insulting  Australia for no particular reason, having his xenophobic and odious Travel Ban slapped down by the Court, having to fire one Military Advisor, who boldly lied as no Advisor had lied before, being turned down by another who has no intention of destroying his record by participating in the Circus,  provoking even Pravda the Russian newspaper to ridicule his alternate view on NATO, The President of the United States of America stood on the platform and in his usual double-speak, said his administration is ‘running like a well oiled machine.’

As reporter Chris Matthews puts it;  “He (Trump) has a systemic problem with the truth.”

Oh yes, the World has noticed that.
