LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION

Not until the camera operator or the photographer would say action or say cheese, the actors and actresses are told to pause with their best pose and shots. Same with those government or country leaders and to those aspiring leaders who were busy during the mass campaign while they were presenting their own platforms.

As the leaders of each country done with their poses during their campaigns, they do not have to wait for the cameraman to say action, but instead, they should have the initiative to do their responsibilities. Or else, people might as well say, they only want the position. Others may only want to be in the position just to gain personal contentment such as power, fame, and for corruption. No one would know and no one could tell, not unless his or her conscience says so.

Being in a position requires certain actions. The leaders’ platforms during elections campaign with their promises should be put into actions. As the famous quote says, “Action speaks louder than words” but in the world of realities where everyone just want to sit all day long and command their subordinates then “words are now louder than action.”

To be an elected leader of the country, one should put their actions together with their ideas and platforms. It is what we, as their fellow citizens, want. Often than sometimes, we observe that most leaders do not deserve their positions. Their actions and attitudes do not suit theme to be called as government leaders. What is worst is that they are the number one violators of the rules and regulations or laws of the country. As they hold the position, they become irresponsible and active in doing nothing but corruption.

Well, hopefully, that the new and coming officials will refrain from those attitudes because there are cameras around the corners or everywhere. They might be surprised if they will see their stolen pictures in the four corners of the social Medias.

One more thing, the leaders must also base their actions as what their compatriots need. There are lots of problems that they should address to rather than creating one. With their initiatives, everything would be in order and that with their proper actions, there will no more complain from concerned citizens.

We all hope that each leader of every country will be actors and actresses not only in front of the camera lights but most especially at the back of those flashes.
