Past generations vs Future generations

This is something i have thought about alot when seeing children from this generation. The children that were already born into technology. It is diferent how we grew up and how they are growing up.

I remember being 10 and only wanting to play with my friends outside, or camping or even just making houses of you blocks. It was a simple childhood. We didn’t want much. If we wanted to talk to a friend we would call their house, ask their mothers if they were home and talk to them or arranje to meet up and talk. This was the best way to keep in touch or even to go out and play. We had a desktop computer with no internet and would just play demo games or goof around recording music or silly things.

Now a days you see 5 year olds wanting to go on the computer to play and some parents even let this happen. Letting them into the world of technology so early. With all the social media out there kids tend to get on them so early making them easy prey for people that want to harm them. This needs to be controlled by the parents. If you want o let them get into technology early, fine, but restrict them to certain things, don’t let them be “online” all the time. This ruins the perfect childhood were you are supposed go out, fall down, get dirty and have fun. Not locked up in a room on a computer where all you get is bad eyesight and probably worse things can happen.

I don’t know how our future generations are going to be but i sure hope that this starts getting reduced so kids know what it feels like to be a kid and not some programmed child that lives off of social media.

We need to fight for our childrens futures.

    • The children this time will never experience the true spirit of games outside of the netbooks or cellular phones, They are greatly influenced and exploited by technology. The parents cannot stop them for they learned it in school from their peers. Gone are the yesterdays where true joys felt in games were played.

      • They cant stop it at school but they can stop it at home. make it a thing that they only use because they need to and not because they want to

    • These how the new generations gain entertainment since parents are too busy with their jobs and not willing to spend time with them. So they decided to be involved in technology rather than feeling bored the whole day because no one want to play with them.
