So it started raining dogs and cats. People on roads started running for a cover. Some find suitable cover fast, others do not.
People in cars roll their windows down totally, many put the blinkers on, lights on, and the wipers are also started.
Traffic slows, and at some places, we even see traffic jams.
Well, this is what happens on the roads, or at other places.
But do any memories come to your mind?
Of school days and playing football with pools of water in rain. Or, making a paper boat and letting it float on water.
Of those fried Pakodas(Gram Flour(besan) dumplings deep fried), or other salty savories along with tea, occasionally having some sweets.
And those meeting with relatives on those Tea sessions.
Yes, for some these things still happen, but with the current pace and madness of life, such simple joys are becoming rarer.
A meeting with a friend or a relative with pakodas and tea even if simply made, is more cherishable than dining out in an expensive restaurant or even eating Pizza in a Mall.
Other seasons too have their own associated memories- like eating Pooris and Halwa/chana (Fried Soft Dough bread along with a sweet preparation and Chickpeas- white or black)during Navratras during March/October(Spring / Autumn season).
Summers bring their own set of things and events that imprint long lasing effects on our minds.
We have the hot winds and merciless heat during the summers. Yet we also have those Mangoes, Watermelons, those icecreams and candies.
Or those nights where bazaars come full with lights and activity.
Those cool showers bring so much respite from heat.
Then, the winter memories- well those days when we welcome sunshine, and enjoy time out in sunshine. We enjoy teas and occasionally coffees.
People in places with snowfall enjoy playing with snowballs, many do skiing and skating.
Yet people also have those tough times of wading through deep snow.
For some, the experience of snow also brings a unique one, which is enchanting and looks like out of the world.
Similarly Spring and Autumn have their own significance – in cold countries, they bring greenery and relief from chilling cold.
So spring has its special reverence in many countries, especially western world, but spring is also welcome in primarily hot countries like India.
So, bring on the memories of different seasons, relish them. May be, they can act as a great de-stresser.

Yes, rain and thunder leave a greater effect on human mind and memory from old to young, People enjoy it with whole heart because such type of season comes rarely on earth be rain, sunshine, singing birds, and cute children playing with paper boats all alone in such a fine weather. I like such season most.
In simple terms, almost the whole of New Zealand is warmer and sunnier than the UK. The driest weather is found in the east (Christchurch and Napier, for example) and the warmest weather is found in the north (Auckland and Napier, for example).
Spring comes to New Zealand earlier than in the UK, summer lasts longer, autumn comes later and there are ample opportunites to get outdoors at all times of the year.
In Auckland and the northern part of the North Island, winter is usually a season of plentiful rainfall. People in Northland sometimes talk of “The Wet”. Despite the frequent rainfalls, there is also abundant sunshine. New Zealanders happily point out the reason that much of the country is so brilliantly green is that God waters it regularly.
Auckland and Christchurch probably have the best weather of New Zealand’s main population centres. Christchurch’s seasons are more distinct than Auckland’s and its winters are noticably cooler. Frost is common in Christchurch, followed by stunningly sunny days. Frost is rare in Auckland.
If you like to swim in the sea, the water is pleasant in summer around Auckland but cooler around Christchurch. Christchurch is considerably drier than Auckland and its rain falls on fewer days. Some people can find Auckland quite sticky in summer but the summer warmth in Christchurch is dryer.
