newspapers are dying at the hands of the internet

I spend a lot more time on the internet than I used to.I used to read a lot of fiction books online.I find myself reading newspapers a lot more and magazines occassionally.

Most people, assume that newspapers are dying at the hands of the internet. There was a time when we were used to read news on newspaper. But now Internet has killed newspaper.
There is so many advantages of reading news online.Online news is free for readers, and it is easily Availible, and the most people spend a lot of time on the internet everyday and it’s Saves Paper. It is easier for journalists who have no deadlines and they can put a new story at any time and correct any misspellings at any time, when they want.

And it have news about a national disaster in minutes but with newspapers you have to wait until tomorrow.

How can advantage comes without disadvantage.I will mention few disadvantage and that is harder for local business’s to advertise to people in their area.biggest disadvantage is jobs for newspaper companies because they dont need then as many people to run the presses or delivery the newspapers most important part of the newspaper is advertising.

But now advertising is following readers out of their door. The rush is almost unseemly, because the internet is a seductive medium that supposedly matches buyers with sellers and proves to advertisers that their money has well spent. And the Classified ads,in very particular way, News are quickly and smartly shifting online. All newspapers have lost half their classified advertising to the internet.

Luckily newspapers have not yet started to shut down in large numbers, but it is only a matter of the time.Over the next few decades half the rich world’s general papers may be fold. Now Jobs are already disappearing.

And the number of people employed in the industry fell by 18% between 1990 and 2004. Tumbling shares of listed newspaper firms have prompted fury from investors.

After having ignored reality for years, newspapers are at last doing something. In the order to cut costs, they are now already spending less on journalism. Many news media are trying to attract younger readers by shifting the mix of their stories towards entertainment, lifestyle and the subjects that may seem to more relevant to people’s daily lives than international affairs and politics are. They are now trying to create new businesses on and offline.

We know with a newspaper, you usually buy only one.It is also more labor intensive so you are likely to devote more time to reading it.But With a computer, you can easily quickly access thousands of news sites. And You still have a finite amount of time to read them, you tend to merely skim the headlines and only pick the ones that pique your interest.

Internet or online news does not have borders while the newspaper news has limitations.More people get their news from the Internet than from newspapers and more add went to online outlets than to newspapers.Local television news is still the number one source for the majority of the people.

I am online half of the day.It just makes since for me to stop at few websites and get the news, instead of the newspapers that that will just pile up from not being read.
