Swat Valley is famous all over the world due to its natural charm and the whole world tourist call it the Mini Switzerland of Pakistan because it is full of snow capped mountains, crystal lakes and streams, dale and dales, gardens and forests, think woods among the mountains….we can say it is the paradise on earth for the visitors.

In the North side of the Swat Valley lies Chitral and Chizer, when we see in the East we find Kohistan and Shangla, in its South District Bunerand Malakand, in the West uou will Dustrict Dis all these are most beautiful for eyes. All the sights of the valley hail the visitors by the natural charms far away.

Swat River is one of the beautiful rivers all over the world its serpentine going through the snow capped mountains is mysterious just like the river built by Kublai Khan of China saw in dream. It is 4500 to 600 km from the sea level and that is why its all mountains remain covered with snow throughout the years.

In the valley of Swan summer is short and winter is long remains from November to March and heavenly rains and snow fall come on time and the people of the valley call it the blessings of God on the valley people. When I was in the university student I went o with cordial teachers and student males and females for fifteen days and I cannot forget its beauty and charm, breakfast, lunch and dinner and evening meals in different hotels with local friends and people. I still enjoy its beauty in my imaginations because I am poet national and international that why all scenes are locked in my memory lock.

The natural beauty of Swat Valley attracts the attention of the visitor including five senses of everyone, especially of Stewart. There was much fine natural scenery stretching from Malakand to all the way North to South. The writer’s starting point was Malakand through which they entered the other valley with their companions feeling their hearts fresh. It was full of dangerous hills, high mountains and walking narrow paths. They also saw the remains of Buddhists, mysterious ancient forests and Ghandhara Civilization. As the text shows:

“The hill tops were covered with Buddhists remains

And all over the valley there ruins from old monasteries

And the stupas and houses…”

On the other side, fascinating crystal streams running with their full natural speed, mustard fields, wheat fields, willow trees, oak trees and walnut trees were standing beautifully along the road like royal kings standing in the palaces. These were the natural beauty that attracted the Stewart’s attention plus her companions. They enjoyed the valley much with their happy hearts forgetting the way-problems and anxiety.

After reading the whole article it seems that the writer’s analysis is a practical analysis of the beauty of Swat Valley with full zeal and zest with her chums. While coming from the snow capped mountains on the way she saw a gypsy caravan going to Shadu Sharif wearing attractive and gay capital costumes full of fine embroidery. As the text shows:

“It would be nice to spend a long time in the valley

of Swat. I should like to paint dozens of pictures

and higher hill.”

Along with it she mentions the beauty of the Swat River running just opposite the Civil Dispensary. Miandom village offers her a marriage procession to see and the bridal was sitting in a dolli. In the evening she went to Lazdhar was full of a wide variety of local and imported items were available at affordable price. She was much excited seeing the leopard skin-made items for sale, jackal item for sale at the shops. As the text shows”

“We saw a baby leopard skin handing in a road side

Shop and wondered where it had came from.”

To sum up, it is a beautiful description of Swat Valley. Nothing is hidden from the writer’s keen eyes. She mentions every major and minor aspect of the valley in attractive words. We may call it a small guideline book to a newly visitor to Swat Valley. Besides she describes that the Swatese have friendly nature to the visitors, especially to the foreign visitors. They welcome them with open arms and hearts.

They are known to all over the world for their hospitality in the best way with their local breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. They are Muslims by faith and their religion is Islam. They all believe in Allah and His prophet Muhammad. They also have a strong faith in luck is pre-written since man’s creation.

    • A great post. I love reading about nature. I have visited Switzerland and have spent a few hours at Jung Frau the Alps of Switzerland. The hotel where we stayed had our room facing the Alps.

We have kashmir and its beauty.

    • It looks so captivating. The land area is so peaceful to stay. If I have the chance, I will just pick up my backpack and travel around this place. It resembles the mountain part of Switzerland. I hope there are some cottages out here where the tourist can stay while enjoying the ambiance.
