My opinion on marijuana legalization

Many people are basing their beliefs and opinions about marijuana, from what they have read on the internet. But the real question is, is weed really that much dangerous? In some countries like California, marijuana is totally legalized and it’s legally used in public places, parks, ghettos and such places.

Whether marijuana has negative or positive impacts, most of the people are creating campaigns, protest, for marijuana legalization. From what I have read, marijuana is used in the pharmacies in some countries, but only with a prescription, while in other countries like US, everyone can use weed wherever he likes.

Also, it’s a myth that Cannabis can cure cancer, but it is a fact that people who smoke weed, experience a better mood, sleep more comfortable and are immune to the everyday diseases and illnesses.

The only negative impacts I see of marijuana are that people would get stoned everywhere. I mean everything has a limit, you can’t smoke weed at the office, at child playgrounds.. There should be a law about where you can smoke weed, like public places for smoking weed, not just everywhere.

We also have to find a way to detect stoned drivers, although is not as dangerous as drunk drivers.

So after all, my opinion is that marijuana SHOULD be legalized, but with hefty amount of restrictions and laws. Some of them I stated above, like the public places, children’s playground and stuff..

And those that don’t follow the rules and break the law should be punished with a sentence in prison or fined. And there also should be a restriction of how much people can consume if they are drivers, those that are driving while being high should get their driving license taken away e.t.c.
