There is this saying that goes like “LET GO AND LET GOD” if you read between the lines you will understand what I mean by that statement. Though it is straight forward you don’t need to expound on it. It’s all about leaving everything to God. Don’t keep dwelling on the things that keep putting you down, sometimes it’s good to just lay on Jesus feet and let him do his work. Don’t keep stressing over stuff that you cannot change. When we pray to God, our words go up to him and he brings down answers. God let’s us go through stuff so that he can teach us something, or warn us, or protect us. We should not always take disappointments to be a bad thing, we should in fact embrace them because it’s through this trials that we get breakthroughs. Think about it this way you have to have a disappointment in your life to be able to get to your appointment. So don’t disregard them they happen for a pretty good reason. I am an example of such I have experienced so much pain and hurt in life but when I look back at it I realize that it was all for good course. If i didn’t go through the turmoils I would never have travelled to the places I did, i never would heave built the house that i built and so many other things. That’s why I look back and just thank God for his ever loving mercy and grace upon my life.

Hi Tracy, thanks for dropping by. I understand that, as I am doing the same too. I hope we can always learn from each other and motivate each other too.
Are you a stay at home mom too?

Hi Lee Ka. Yes I am also a stay at home mom, I want to start working again but the salaries in my area are so low that it’s not worth it as I would then have to pay someone to look after my little one. I also do all the Admin work for my husbands business. Any tips I find out about I’ll pass on to you.

Luckily I love Carrots so it’s good to know all the carrots I’m eating are actually helping my health and eye sight.
-
It must be true what you say about carrots. I never liked carrot and I do have problems with might vision. I link the two, even though I don’t have any scientific proof to show anybody.
-
@Tracy, good to know about it, it’s not only caring and curing eye defects; likewise, protecting your body from deadly disease like cancer, as based from doctor’s on line testimony. Nice to know some words from you having carrots as among your foods. Cheers.
-
@Treathyl FOX, You can have the scientific proof should you try to goggle search the facts about carrots. At home we all happily eat carrots raw and we all have sharp vision.Sometimes I feel bored to eat carrots hehehe, but go back to eat again. I had eye problem before and my sister too had a cataract. She has no longer the cataract in her eyes. This veggie is truly heaven sent. I thank God for all His love to His children by providing all with foods all around and no need to buy them if having the capability to plant.
Carrots have tastes many do not like, but try to use a blender and just put small water with few ice cubes and sliced bits of carrots.Just try one piece of carrot.Just believe and follow what you believe. -
@cely I beg to disagree when you said the taste of the carrot juice is terrible. It is actually so delicious. My daughter when she was growing up had her first taste of this. And from then on, she would drink carrot juice and ask me to blend carrots always.
I think, the habit of drinking carrots just stopped when I went to Manila to study caregiver.
So, it is just simply blending the carrots and drink it in the morning and in the evening.
At night, I cannot read well, when it is not under a strong lamp. I think , I need to drink carrot juice too, so my vision at night will be corrected while at its earliest stage of that.
-
@Dina, hehehehe , we have differences in tastes that is why not all like its taste, in fact people only eat this if mixed with chicken , pork or beef which is wrong. When I drink carrot juice, I add it milk to make the taste great. We all drink at home so we would have stored lutein and eyes will always be sharp.I only drink this every evening for in the morning coffee. My family always stocks carrots good for one week. We buy weekly 6 kilos and we have to be thankful in oru country for carrots are cheaper compared to other countries.
It will be very nice if you would drink again carrot juice to always have clear vision.
-
So many times I have been told to eat more carrots, so now this should motivate me. I think I will add a bit of sugar to the mix though.
-
Cathy , Just try to add small amount of sugar, then as soon as you like the taste, no not anymore add sugar. Thanks friend for sharing your nice thoughts about this blog post.

My ex husband is a workaholic. During the weekend his favourite saying was this: “It is boring. I have nothing to do.” But during his work week, his favourite saying in the evening was: Boy did I work hard today. I am so tired”. Go figure, I guess he was never satisfied. Sorry about this comment. I just wanted to rant. I agree with you though about working for long hours to get your payment. I wish I had your energy.
Workaholic is like a drug addict? I guess so because as observed to those people who are said to be workaholic, they as if cannot live the whole day without doing a multi task. They cannot be satisfied with only one task they do. So for others, they work ’till midnight and then they woke up again as early as 4am just to do their work.
They are addicted with work, and that is why you compared it with drug addicts. As we all know, drug addicts depends on drugs to satisfy their body need, so as with workaholics, they feel contentment in doing full load of works daily.
My husband was a workaholic, which never left much time for us as a couple and if I ever spoke to him about this he would become angry which caused arguments. I resented feeling forgotten by him then one day we finally was able to actually sit and talk about our feelings he had been married before me and his exwife died from cancer after her death he dealt with his grief thru work, he and I met and eventually married but he was by that so use to working all the time he couldn’t see what he was doing to our marriage, after our talk he began to take days just for me and it helped our relationship greatly.
