This is one of those days where those jilted or don’t have a boyfriend, doesn’t like it to come. Even at Facebook, our president was seen holding a banner that says He will Cancel Valentine’s day. I shared it and those friends of mine who are single, said Yehey! ha ha ha
But for the couples, specially the young ones, Valentine’s day is a day very dear to them.
When I was still single and working in a bank, the married guys would tally each girls receiving the bouquet of flowers or boxes of chocolates that arrives for them. ha ha ha
For hubby and I, we usually dine out by ourselves, although when our daughter is at home, we would bring her along.
However, she’s now having her residency as a young doctor in a far city hospital, so she too gets to celebrate it with his boyfriend complete with bouquet of tulips.

we don’t need to be moody just because no one is taking us out for valentine.
the best is to make ourselves happy, and focus on how we can be a better person.

Precisely, the singles shouldn’t hate Valentine’s day but embrace it as it comes. They can go out to dine with their family. Or they can prepare or just buy foods for the house, so everyone at their house can partake and enjoy Valentine’s day.
Valentine’s day is for everyone who knows how to love and is around their family who supports and love them unconditionally.
