Water during meals or after meals

Is It good or normal to have water between meals or we should have water before the meal of after the meal. As I have read some peoples theory that some say it’s advisable to not to have water between meals and we should have water before 30 minutes or after 30 minutes of meal and not in between meal.

Another theory states that we should have water with the meal, I mean between the meal as it will help in proper digestion and intake of food in our body and makes the chewing of food easy.

Yet another third theory says that we should have water just before the meal so that we cannot eat more and it will help us in our weight control and in this way we can make our self fit.

But I think all these theories are subjective and should not be followed blindly by anyone; rather it should be used properly. I for example try to drink less or even no water between meals and drink only if I desire, and try to avoid water after meals also as I think it will only fill my stomach and also can disrupt my stomach as well.

Also it is advisable to drink limited amount of water between meals because extra intake of water during meal would cause many type of stomach problems and make life difficult for us as well.

Water is a substance which if used properly can help us a lot and if we use it improperly then it will affect us as well. Because if we take Good amount of water on daily basis then it will reflect on our body and in case we did not take the required amount of water then it will cause problems for us and it will also show on our body and we feel ourselves out of energy and feel tired as well.

 

Water is of Vital importance to our body.

      water is good in the body, the best is to drink water 15 minutes before meal.
      don't drink water in between meals.
      drink water after 15 minutes you finished eating.
      drinking water in between meal could solidify the oil which is not good for us.
      drinking water immediately after meal means the same thing.

      we can only drink water when eating only if there's a complication.

    • Good topic. We take soup during the meal or just after finished the meal, some Hong Kong people love to take soup 30 minute before the meal.
      I do drink a small cup of water after meal for cleaning my tongue or month as I don't floss or brushing my teeth after each meal.
      However, there are some scientists or physician do courage the people not to drink water during the meal at all for better digestion or beauty purpose. I have no idea if this work, but some of my friends said this work for them.

      I drink water but still eat more, haha! I think I never able to control my weight as per mentioned in the blog. Sigh!

    • I used to drink Coke as a substitute for water. As I grew older and started getting informed, I found that drinking water is better than Coke. Working with the public on the phones, I find that drinking water is important. It keeps my mouth and throat moist and helps me with my job. Also, I prefer a glass of water to help me digest my food. Water to me is a preferred drink. I like to, once in a while, carry a bottle with me to drink. It is a healthy and good drink to have around.
