Valentine is less than 24 hours to come. Couples are already getting prepared for this great day. A day to share love and put smiles on faces. What a wonderful time for couples. If the whole world is filled with love for one another, there will be peace all around. But instead of love, we find hatred.
Valentine is for couples only, what about the children, the singles, the widow and the widowers. A vacuum is left in the hearts of such category of people.
The singles feel it more, especially those ones who neither have a boyfriend, or girlfriend, or fiancé. Some might have suitors while some are yet to have one man to propose.
Some singles have been turned down by different girls they tried to woo, hence leaving them with no plan for VAL.
Put yourself together as a single, don’t be discouraged, don’t be disappointed. There are many more valentine’s day to be celebrated by you and your spouse.
The fact that you are single today doesn’t mean you forever be single. The following tips could help you during this period :
1. Fixed yourself up. Find something to do. Be busy and forget about someone taking you out.
2. Stay happy, don’t look frustrated because of VAL love that will come and go and forgotten.
3.wear smiles everywhere you go, such that by the time your friend and his guy would be coming back, they will be amazed at your look and will be forced to ask. “where did you catch fun today”
4. I will like you to remember that not all couples celebrate valentine, so why worry?
Get this also, when she comes to you with her engagement ring, don’t feel envy, as envy is from the devil. Instead rejoice with her, then pray silently for yours to come. Be happy she said yes ” to your friend, you will also get your own” yes! I will marry you” very soon.
Also know that being single is a blessing, a stage to prepare for your marriage properly.
Therefore, instead of you thinking about an imaginary guy or lady, think about your future.

That's why am going to spend valentine's day by myself. I enjoy loving my kid and being with my kid, that's my valentine day gift to myself. Just being around him is what takes the cake. He's my joy and my best friend. A lot of people say your not suppose to look at your kids like that but I can't help it becuz more then anything I love buying my son gifts becuz he is a gift to me.
This is one of those days where those jilted or don't have a boyfriend, doesn't like it to come. Even at Facebook, our president was seen holding a banner that says He will Cancel Valentine's day. I shared it and those friends of mine who are single, said Yehey! ha ha ha
But for the couples, specially the young ones, Valentine's day is a day very dear to them.
When I was still single and working in a bank, the married guys would tally each girls receiving the bouquet of flowers or boxes of chocolates that arrives for them. ha ha ha
For hubby and I, we usually dine out by ourselves, although when our daughter is at home, we would bring her along.
However, she's now having her residency as a young doctor in a far city hospital, so she too gets to celebrate it with his boyfriend complete with bouquet of tulips.
we don't need to be moody just because no one is taking us out for valentine.
the best is to make ourselves happy, and focus on how we can be a better person.
Precisely, the singles shouldn't hate Valentine's day but embrace it as it comes. They can go out to dine with their family. Or they can prepare or just buy foods for the house, so everyone at their house can partake and enjoy Valentine's day.
Valentine's day is for everyone who knows how to love and is around their family who supports and love them unconditionally.
