I watched a documentary on t.v. a few months ago about this haunted bridge, called the Overtoun Bridge, located in Scotland. The show I watched wasn’t certain as to why dogs would randomly jump off the bridge, for […]

    • I’m a cat person too. There’s actually a 50 ft. drop off the side, but there’s a lot of shrubbery before you get to the center of the bridge.

Heceta Head Lighthouse is a lighthouse that sits high on a bluff, looking out toward the Pacific Ocean. It seems like there are many lighthouses that sit on bluffs, and most of them are the shorter of all the […]

    • The lighthouse is a magnificent building and the fact that so many of them have stood for such a long time means they were built to last. Makes you wonder why all buildings aren’t constructed to last.

Yes, this is a real photo, and I did not Photoshop it in any way. However, I have seen where my photo has been taken and used on the internet, but I can prove it is my photo, and this is my cat.

    To protect his […]

    • I wish my cat could be like Rugburn, but the garden is her paradise and I could never anything more she would love I only have one problem about her, she is totally addicted to chips at movie day she would always have a bowlful when were watching (including her!). I don’t know if it’s bad for her though but she makes the face whenever she doesn’t get what she wants. LOL

    • If I would have a cat for a pet, I would like it to be potty trained like your Rugburn.

Your cat is so smart because he really tried to learn how to have his waste like that on top of the toilet bowl. Did any of you trained him at first on how to do it, or he really out of his hatred for the litter box learned it by himself? How come he knows, it’s where we humans deposits our waste?

The Capilano Suspension Bridge, is located in Vancouver, Canada. It got it’s name, because it crosses the Capilano River, is 460 ft. across, and standing 230 ft above the river, it definitely gives a new […]

    • Interesting and at the same time scary. I wonder if I could handle crossing that bridge.

    • Wow! This bridge is really amazing!
I think my foot will be shaking when across this bridge, I think I am a acrophobia when I am there. 230 ft is really high to me. Is it a hanging bridge?
It sure in my visiting list if I go and visit Vancouver, Canada as I am a natural lovers, I will like to visit the national parks instead of highest building in the world or those shopping malls for branded bags.
In fat, there is a hanging bridge in my country, i.e located at Langkawi Island, Kedah,Malaysia. It’s worth to pay a visit if you are visiting Malaysia one day!
Welcome to Malaysia, our motto of the visiting Malaysia year is :”A truly Asia”, because we have the culture which reflects the colour of Asia, we have 3 major races, India, Malay and Chinese ,diverse cultures, nice foods, beautiful beach, scene and forest. All these are the attraction for the tourists, I believe.

I just got off work, I’m currently working as a sales associate. I’m 23 and I’ll be 24 next month. I’m currently trying to figure out why I’m so scared of taking a fulltime position in the health care field. For some reason I feel like I would t be able to do it. Recently I had attended a marriage in Rajamundry. I was getting hungry and I was quite aware that the stuffed Brinjal Curry would be a special item in the marriage for the lunch as most of the people in Andhra […]

    • I have to say, they do look unusual. You have a very informative post here though, with the perfect way to fix these. I’m looking at some of the ingredients and thinking to myself, they might not be good for someone that gets indigestion easily. But like I said before, nice recipe and thanks for sharing.

    • Is Brinjal the fat eggplant variety. I certainly would love to cook this however, some ingredients may not be available here like Masala powder, ginger garlic paste (or can I just pound garlic and ginger together ) and coriander seeds.

But I suppose, each country have their special way and ingredients in cooking eggplant. Anyway, I can look for those ingredients in a supermarket that has Indian products. Let me see.

How I wish I can eat this one someday. 🙂

    • Nice recipe, I have never tested this dishes before.

We can get the small brinjal here, yes, it’s one of the eggplant type from the same family, I guess.

I spotted that you are using a word: Garam masala. What does the word “garam” meant? Is it meant “salt” in English.

To me, this is a Malay word, which meant salt. How do you know this word? Just curious if your society/community members use the same word as well like us, Malaysian Malay .

      Thanks!

I cannot forget a traumatic experience I had when our daughter was just a baby, and that was 26 years ago.
We then lived in the old house of my hubby’s parents, where my hubby and his siblings all grew up. […]

    • Oh.It looks like a great escape. Such experience became very common in Hyderabad, especially in summer. But, these are confined to an area where most of the residents live in huts and thatched houses.

I had this experience only once when I was on tour and happened to stay in my friend’s room. It was a room attached to a house. After attending the daily work we slept deeply and there was no one other than we too.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. The owner was knocking the door. I opened the door in the sleep itself only to be informed that the adjacent house caught on fire. I could not understand him as most of the houses are cement roofed. When I expressed my doubt he told me that one of the rooms of the house is not having a concrete roof and it is a thatched one meant only for resting during a summer season and that it had been richly furnished one.
we both rushed to the spot and helped the owner of the house poured buckets of water and brought it under control. There was only minimum damage to the costly articles inside the house.

      • Oh good thing , all of you helped in stopping the fire.

Here fires usually happen in squatter areas where the houses are of light materials and are very adjacent to one another. One house burning would end up hundreds of houses burned at the end of the fire.

Then when the fire truck arrives, it sometimes cannot go into those very narrow pathways, thus the hose can only be at those that it can reach.

And some scrupulous persons would take advantage of the situation and would steal those saved appliances that were usually place on the open where they can’t be reached by the fire.
