I just have introduced chicken feet soup as I am told it has health properties specially for joints and ligaments.

The chicken feet are pressure cooked with sufficient water and the soup extracted. The cooked feet are given to Preiti.

To the soup a good amount of tomatoes are added and cooked till tomatoes are done. The soup is then strained for…[Read more]

@Ruby3881  I would have continued at blogbourne if there was no selective editing. I have seen blogs  badly written up there.  The editing is bad enough – it puts me off – and to see some blogs with so many howlers that is unbearable.

It is unbelievable that so many write there despite there being no light at the end of the tunnel with regard to payment.

@Ruby3881  I deleted my account there as merely deleting blogs and sending them elsewhere Google Search would still find them. I did a similar thing with wikinut. Those were well thought out blogs and I did not want them to languish there. No problem. I have enough sites to write on.

    • Earning one cent per page view is really inviting! Just imagine how much I have earned by now if it was the same rate here 🙂 Well, in any writing platforms, there is a risk involved. And it is always up to us whether to take the plunge and give it a shot. Let’s all hope for the best that all our efforts will amount to something in the end.

    • are you refering to the BB site?
      1 cent per view?
      That is good news
I would want to write there but I shall wait till someone had redeem first, let me know if you had

    • I hope you get paid… time will tell

      • They jolly well pay if they want to survive unless they want to run away with whatever they have earned so far without sharing it with us and then close shop (lol)

    • It really takes time to reach the 10 dollars and then redeem. But I know once you paved way on the road, it will be easy then. In my case, I am really hoping for this because I am still starting to familiarize things here.

      • There are many who are paid here just because we have all been active. You will be paid too. Just keep participating.

    • Good luck to you @!bestwriter.I hope that you will find what you are looking for. I hope that TC will pay writers religiously. There are sites newly born but I know they won’t stay so long. This time grab that chance. I may visit that site to know its platform.

Whenever one is trying to do something that so many may consider out of the norm or something they’re unwilling to do. The resistance will come and when it does one has to put on the armor because all sorts of […]

    • One needs to be strong to go off the beaten track as there will be many who would think that whatever is being tried would be a futile exercise. History has many such examples.

    • The key is the remain “determined” and find common ground. Those who will be in the line of resistance are doing a disservice to themselves. Some may perceive that they’re gaining by trying to rip a person or persons apart. Society is filled with all sorts of people and sometimes we will have to deal with those who are disagreeable most of the time. What’s purpose will be no matter how many people are in disagreement. Be blessed.

    • The photo itself is giving inspiration to the person who feel in despair. Sometimes we just need to look around be motivated in our life and don’t just sitting in one corner.

    • In this world you cannot live without adversities. we cannot live without friends and enemies they are essential in our lives. just like we have friends who will help us in life and at other times they mislead us, so are our enemies. there are those who will help us and there are those that will mislead. So we all need to be determined to be able to live a good and straight life. i like your article very informative.

    • Those who are harassed by others are those who have weak will power and intention because it does so due to lack of knowledge is the main cause of it. Read the history of a revolutionary person he is criticized by others bitterly at home and out of home but he does not go the wrong path and follows his mission of bringing revolution in our society. At last he succeeds in his mission on the ground of will power and nothing else.

It is said intention brings fruits in physical shape. Sometimes you wish to go for a walk, knowing how good it is for your health and how wonderful you feel afterwards, yet, you feel too lazy and prefer to watch TV instead. You may be aware of the fact that you need to change your eating habits or stop smoking, yet, you do not have the inner power and persistence to change these habits.

Does this sound familiar? How many times have you told yourself, “I wish I had will power and self discipline”? How many times have you started some new activity and quit after a while? We all have had experiences like these.

Everyone possesses some habits or addictions they wishes they could overcome, such as smoking, excessive eating, laziness, procrastination or lack of assertiveness. Developed will power and self discipline bestow the inner strength to overcome any negative habit. They make a great difference in your life. They can make you a winner in whatever you do.

Will power is the ability to control unnecessary and harmful impulses. It is the ability to overcome laziness and procrastination. It is the ability to arrive to a decision and follow it with perseverance until its successful accomplishment. It is the inner power that overcomes the desire to indulge in unnecessary and useless habits, and the inner strength that overcomes inner emotional and mental resistance for taking action. It is one of the corner stones of success, both spiritual and material.

Self-discipline is the companion of will power. It endows the stamina to persevere in whatever one does. It bestows the ability to withstand hardships and difficulties, whether physical, emotional or mental. It grants the ability to reject immediate satisfaction for something better.

The human being is full of inner unconscious, or partly conscious, impulses. People sometimes say or do things they later regret saying or doing. On many occasions people do not think before they talk or act.

By developing these two powers, one becomes conscious of the inner subconscious impulses, and gains the ability to reject them when they are not for his/her own good.

Heard of Turkey and Mushroom Risotto?

I didn’t know that Turkey and Mushroom Risotto is one of the well known rice recipe in the western countries until a  friend from Facebook had recommended me to try out he […]

    • I love risotto but I don’t make it often. I really should! This one sounds yummy, especially with the veggies added 🙂

I usually just make risotto with my usual long grain rice, because it’s inexpensive and we’re on a budget. But I love to do it with Arborio rice for a treat, once in a blue moon.

    • Sounds like a pretty good dish. Tasty ingredients blended together. Could make a great meal for a large family. Mushrooms are very good when cooked. Not fan of eating mushrooms raw. Really appreciate the share. The recipe sounds great. Never tried Turkey Mushroom Risotto. Certainly would be different.

      • thanks for your comments, I noticed that western people rarely eat tofus, fish and mushrooms, these are common ingredients used in our daily meals.
No, you don’t eat raw mushrooms, cooked them before consume.
Do try and let me know

    • You know Filipino cannot eat without the rice in the table. But few we serve in risotto. That recipe seems hard to prepared but as I look at it, the mushroom and turkey in the rice is already a mouth watering food for me.

    • it looks delicious

    • thanks for your kind comments.
yeah, I usually would write out the ingredients that are not common into my post so that readers could understand them.
Otherwise, where or how to get them and what it looks like, is a problem too

    • If we prepare it at home it will be delicious in eating at home with family and friends but its taste will be double if we take it on the travel and ate sitting on the car seat on e way in loneliness.
dvance preparation:You can begin up to several hours before serving. Proceed with the recipe and cook halfway through Step 3 — that is, for about 15 minutes.

The rice should still be hard when you remove it from the heat, and there should not be any liquid in the pan. Spread it in an even layer in the pan and keep it away from the heat until you resume cooking.

If the pan is not wide enough for you to spread the rice in a thin layer, transfer it to a sheet pan. Fifteen minutes before serving, bring the remaining stock back to a simmer, and reheat the rice. Resume cooking as instructed.

The best leftover dish is the first sandwich you make from what’s left of the turkey, standing barefoot in a quiet kitchen lighted only by the dim bulb above the stove: thick toast with mayo and cranberry sauce and dressing and slices of just-carved meat.

No, scratch that (though it’s delicious and you should make two or three). The best leftover recipe is risotto with turkey and wild mushrooms, the grains of rice plump with turkey broth and made nutty with cheese. The soft richness of the meal recalls Thanksgiving, then amplifies the memory, giving it a rakish flair.

( In this article, “grandmother” refers to your child’s grandmother, who is your own mother or mother-in-law)

Grandparents can be a great help to working parents in many ways.

    One thing for su […]

    • I agree with you.
Here in our country, Chinese families prefer to have own mom or mother in law to care for their little ones, unless the old folks are unwilling to take care, then had to resort to Indonesian maids

    • Baby sitter is a tough job for the young men but old people may do this job easily. Whether you choose your mother or mother-in-law for regular babysitting or decide to hire someone else for the job, select a caregiver who is the right fit for your family and its own unique needs. If hiring Grandma isn’t in her best interest or yours, services like Urban Sitter.

Some can help you quickly and easily find a top-notch sitter who will quickly begin to feel like part of the family. And no matter whom you hire, having a clear dialogue about your expectations is the best way to tee up any babysitter-parent relationship for success.

However, there are many daily costs of caring for kids. Consider travel expenses, including the gas purchased to get to and from the job and for any carpooling of the kids, the toll the travel takes on her car, as well as taxi or public transportation costs she may incur during the day. In addition, there are plenty of meal, snack, entertainment,

    • There is a myth in our society that says that children who are brought up by their grandparents are spoilt. Do you believe this as well? Am sure most people would agree with me on this one. As much as we may try to assume that fact it has some truth to it. If there is anything I would not change in my life, it would be doing or taking care of my children or child the same way my mum did it. Because for starters when I look at my life I can say confidently that my mum raised me well. It’s really not about the old days or the new technologies that are coming up in our lives everyday, it’s the technique that They used to bring up kids that matters. Our parents used to be harsh but at the same time they were loving and firm. Unlike now when parents are just being harsh towards their kids and not being loving enough. They are not getting involved in their kids lives, they don’t care what the kids are doing it where they are going and that I can say is quite serious. So I feel grandparents are like the world’s saviors when it comes to taking care of their grandchildren. They have actually saved day.

    • those are really pretty wild flowers, I spotted white tiny lily wild flowers in the overgrwon weed garden too.
Wild flowers are as beautiful as any other potted plants too.
Nature is just plain beautiful, could grow on its own in between the wild

      • As I have said in my blog every flower that we see in our gardens were brought in from forests and jungles. I have never seen tiny lilies in the wild.

    • Wild flower are more useful for health than city flowers due to air and water process. Wild Flowers are of special interest to flower lovers. Most wild flowers are beautiful, fragrant and colorful. Wild Flowers can be grown in gardens and just about anywhere else. Wildflowers are those that grow spontaneously under respective conducive conditions, even without being deliberately grown.

Perhaps due to their immense appeal for flower lovers, seeds of Wild Flower meadows – a few mixed Wild Flower species – are sold commercially. The term ‹Wild Flower‹ has been made vague by commercial seedsmen who are interested in selling more wild flowers or wild flower seeds more expensively than when labeled with only its name and/or origin.

The term implies that the plant probably is neither a hybrid nor a selected cultivar (a cultivated selection of a plant species that is vegetatively propagated) that is in any way different from the way it appears in the wild as a native plant, even if it is growing where it would not naturally.

The sheer range of color, tone and shapes in Wild Flowers is breathtaking. Here we present the description of the most popular Wild Flowers – indeed Wild, Wild Flowers! Tour the brilliant world of Wild Flowers!!!

    • If you’re being intimidated, take it as a compliment. You must be really important and the work you’re doing must be important too! Why else would they try to discourage you? 🙂

    • Everyone has dream in life but dreams must be practical so that the dreamer may achieve the dreams in practical lie. I have spent too much to know what is the reality of dream. There are two types of dreams: the first dream we see while sleeping and the second dream we have for future. Both are important in life.

Have you ever woke up from a dream and then after a few minutes REALLY woke up from a dream? Most people who have experienced these sorts of ‘false awakenings’ report an “eerie feeling” that accompanies the false awakening once they realize that they are dreaming.

The eerie-ness is not surprising given that the experience undermines the belief we all usually have that we have direct contact with reality. It is certainly a shock to realize that you can be going about your day when in fact you are only dreaming.

If you or someone you know experiences these sorts of dreams please describe them in the comment box below or send them to me at my email. Perhaps an appeal for these sorts of dreams on the Web will give us a large enough corpus to begin a real set of analyses.
