Every household will at some time have leftover food that many throw away. Wasting food is not something that gives one peace of mind. No matter how wealthy one is food needs to be given due respect. It is not just […]

    • you have rightly said that food has got immense value. We should not waste food and throw it on the road. The leftover food can be made use of preparing a variety of dishes. This being the concept people are very much after the dishes prepared from leftover food.

Peop;le are accustomed to using the dishes made out of leftover food. They are enjoying the taste of it. It has become a big problem. Parents can not give such stuff regularly wasting the food. The fresh ones are not giving them the taste. We should tell them what is what openly.

This does not mean that all such stuff available in the restaurants are made of leftover food. They prepare and give it a right taste. Sometimes it is also possible that they prepare these dishes using leftover foods in the restaurant to get huge profit.

    • Totally agree with you, that every kitchen has leftover, some times because not all the food can be finished by the kids or family members. They might have a lot of excuse, they were full, they had no appertise. The cook or mummy is always the one whom clear all these.

If not, innovation is a must grab skill by then. I used to fry the left over white rice. This is the most common way I can think off to clear my overnight white rice.

Some of the mummies deep fry the white rice in small piece to make them crunchy as a snack food.

If there is meat left over in the soup, I will keep it and mix into my fried vegetables.

The rest, just go and see how’s the mood during that time. I hope not to waste the food as there are so many refugee whom without food in Africa beside save some cost of food in my family.

    • Even I dont like wasting food at all. When ever i try to do it a sudden picture of those who sleep empty stomach every day comes to my mind. I hate to even think about it.
I loved your idea about turning left over chapatis int chips.
I will try it for sure.
I try to use all left over veggies in vegetable cutlets the next day.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Determination is the way 7 years, 11 months ago

Whatever we choose to do in life. We should put passion in it. Be driven and full of “determination.” The road isn’t easy to travel. The journey may seem long but all the trials are and will be worth it. The […]

    • Yes a strong willed person may perform miracles on earth. Intention is the root of success on earth in any field. JH Sayyar

    • Determination is the key to success in every walk of life …study, business, travel, journey, education, literature…in any field of life determination helps men and women to achieve the goal and destination in real life.

Determination is important. Nothing in life is easy. If you give up, you won’t accomplish much. Sometimes, you should not be so determined that you lose sight of common sense. Just because something doesn’t come easy and we don’t want to give up doesn’t mean we should keep pushing. Sometimes we should give up because things are just not meant to be.

From my point of reference, determination is important because it helps to give focus to consciousness. Individuals with determination help to better understand what has to be done. In a way, determination helps to address Tolstoy’s dilemma regarding what it means to be human. Tolstoy argued that all endeavors must seek to answer two fundamental questions:

Who we are and what shall we do. These two questions are answered by the presence of determination in our lives because it helps to give structure and purpose to what we do and how we shall live. In this light, I would say that determination is highly significant to our lives.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Learning to Compromise Produces Better Results 7 years, 11 months ago

Sometimes we become so accustom to doing things a certain way. For some it’s quite difficult to change the way things are done. Takes practice. More like changing the way we think. In order to find not only […]

    • I agree completely with what you have said here, I especially like the part about communicating. If you don’t communicate then it makes it almost impossible to get anything done, let alone done right. As far as change goes, one of the only constant things IS change, whether or not we want things to change, they always do, so we might as well deal with that fact.

Compromise is such a good thing to be willing to do. Some people want things their way or ELSE, but life as a whole does not work that way.

Even if you are the boss of a large corporation, you have to learn how to compromise to meet the needs of your many employees. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to dealing with people.

Some people think that agreeing to compromise means that they “lost” in some type of way, when in actuality compromising (in certain situations) is a way for everyone to win.

    • You say right that learning to compromise produce better results in practical field because real learning teaches how to compromise any situation.

Open, honest communication should be part of every healthy relationship. Use the guidelines below to open up the channels of communication between you and your partner. If you’re in an unhealthy or abusive relationship, be careful using these tips. You know your relationship best. If any of these tips would put you in danger, don’t try them.

If something is bothering you and you would like to have a conversation about it, it can be helpful to find the right time to talk. Try to find a time when both you and your partner are calm and not distracted, stressed or in a rush. You might even consider scheduling a time to talk if one or both of you is really busy!

Even when we mean well, we can sometimes come across as harsh because of our word choice. Using “you” can sound like you’re attacking, which will make your partner defensive and less receptive to your message. Instead, try using “I” or “we.” For example, say “I feel like we haven’t been as close lately” instead of “You have been distant with me.”

    • I agree with all of the above. Many times when people are travelling they always feel like they need to carry everything that they own especially when it’s your first time. But it’s always good to know where your going and what you will need. The lesser luggage you carry the better for you. The first time I tea Eller I remember I wanted to carry the whole of my wardrobe my perfumes jewellry you name it until I was told that where I was going all the things that I want to carry are there, that’s when I realized aahh am not rlocating am just going on vacation hahaha talk aboutbeing green on some issues.

    • What I have noticed most is parents emptying their coffers and then expecting children to provide them. Children easily forget what parents have done for them and then think that they are doing a favour.

    • Some people start planning for their retirement much earlier in their lives so that when they turn 50 they ar3 well in good hands. Insurance is intact, homes have been built, hobbies have been created, friends he e been found and so I’m and so forth, so you don’t have to start at 50 you can start even in your 30’s by building your own home that saves a lot.
