Luckily, in our clan, most of the children although have grown up are still so close to one another. They may not be with each other always, but when they do, they share stories and laugh non-stop.
Though, there is one family amongst our clan who are divided because the eldest, a son is so greedy. He wants more as his inheritance from the dead mother’s properties. Same with that from his father.
In fact, he is the only opposing one amongst the clan in peacefully agreeing for the share computed for a big resort that the clan owns and will be selling.
But still I am praying that he will mellow and be agreable with the division per family because it was anyway divided equally.

It has more to do with preoccupation and wanting to spend time with their own nuclear family. With just one or two children in a family they cling to each other and therefore have no time for their siblings.

Very true. The way we deal with setbacks is greatly influenced by our surroundings. So, it is really important that we make our surroundings beautiful and positive.
Gather everything that develops a positive attitude and inspire you to get going. Setbacks and trials are inevitable in life but what can be controlled is the manner of dealing with it. -
Yeah opsticles make one stronger. And yes sometimes live and negative people can bring us down sometimes. But there is always tommorow and the sun will shine again. So stand up! Stand proud! Lift your head! Face the world and say! Was that your best shot! Try again! Im still standing stronger than ever!

I am proud that I am a Filipina. That’s because the Filipinos are said to be very resilient people.
When a typhoon would hit our country, it would hit those light material houses of the poor Filipinos. They would be housed for the time being in evacuation centers.
But even if they were in that difficult situation, they still manage to smile in the cameras, whenever they were given relief goods by disaster organization and charitable institutions.
They know what to do in order to survive. They ask for help from the Local Government units, from charities and organizations. If they have exhausted them all, they would go to garbages and look for recyclable materials and sell them so they can have sustenance for their basic needs.
Amidst this situation, they have firm belief that God will provide and will make a way for them to survive. And they do survive.
That’s how resilient Filipinos are.

As it is being told, “Happiness is a choice, despite trials, despite challenges.”
You deserve to be happy, yes, we deserve it. If you purposefully focus on what brings you happiness, on what your area glad for in your life you will find bits of happiness making their way in… before you know it, you will have formed a habit of looking for the happiness and it will travel more willingly with even through your worst days.
If the world pulls you down, just ignore and don’t let them remove the reasons for your happiness.

Yes, it is the best policy in life to stay with positive people and ignore those negative ones. When you are in a toxic situation, just be calm, composed and try to avoid those people who might influence you.
Thanks for the inspiring words.

I think this does look like a good recipe. I’d definitely consider trying it. Though I usually cook outside but this one seems to be a good option.

I love baking and I love pizza too.
But I don’t have time to do it.
I just hope I can try baking this one someday. -
Sounds delicious I will definitely be trying it out myself. Thank you for awesome quick and easy recipe.

Glad you had the opportunity to visit our nation’s capital. 🙂
That US tour took me to several states. I shall write more about other States as well in course of time.

I must agree with you on this one. Of all states visited in my years of travelling, DC was one of my best. I had the opportunity to be a real tourist by visiting the White House, Capitol Hill, Monuments etc. We also visited George Town where we went on a boat cruise for my sisters 40th. To be honest with you, I enjoyed DC, they had too many attractions for visitors, from the zoo, to the museums, we also saw the J. Edgar’s FBI building. Dc was an exceptional trip for me, it was not just about shopping alone, which is what I usually do. Thank God my sis insisted on visiting the tourist attractions.
