Cassy Janine wrote a new post, THE OTHER FACET OF CHALLENGE FOR TEACHERS 7 years, 7 months ago

Teachers are likened to be superheroes. They work fast. They remain strong amidst problems, powerful in overcoming challenges, and most of all, their ability to change the lives of their students for the better […]

    • A teacher is undoubtedly a superhero. Whether he works in India, Philippines, or any other nation, he plays an important role in molding the character of a student and make him a dutiful, responsible, and cultured citizen of the society. In India, the education system is somewhat developed more with the active support and importance are given to it by the Government.
It is not only the Government but also many NonGovernmental Organizations which are taking an active part in developing a planned Education system.

Starting from U.KG, L.K.G there are various types of schools that have been introduced. There are vocational training schools which impart education in the vocational courses also. Besides this, there are Vedic School which are meant exclusively for learning Vedas and other Religious books on various subjects.
The most interesting thing is that some schools do lack facilities. Some schools lack qualified teachers. Each Union approaches the Government with certain demands including relaxation in the qualification for the appointment of teachers. This is here the system suffers a lot. There are many schools which are lacking qualified teachers and the qualified are not preferring to work in Government run Schools. Either they start their own schools or prefer to work in private school as they get more job satisfaction.
The Governments are still unable to form a good and uniform policy to provide good teachers to the educational institutions. The political parties and Judiciary are being approached time and again undoing the developmental programs or schemes/methods introduced in the education system.

    • I think teachers for special children are trained before they are to teach these kind of students. After the training, I think they need to pass the qualifying exams too.
That’s because these kind of students are easy to handle. Some have short lived temper. They should know how to handle a special child having a tantrum. Also when the special child has very short attention to what is being taught.
It is also a need hat they should be given the teaching tools necessary in teaching children with special needs.
Most of all , they should be give a higher salary, because they are in for a difficut way of teaching.

    • If the students refused to learn and when their results are bad, the teachers are to be blamed most of the time. Parents will come and search for the teachers and blame them. They never look into the mirror and the problems of their own children. A lot of teachers had done their best in their work, unfortunately, if the children refused to study, who can help them?

Cassy Janine wrote a new post, WORRY LESS IN EATING YOUR FRIED FOODS 7 years, 7 months ago

Fried chicken, bacon, hotdog, French fries-these are just some of the food cooked by frying that most of you like to indulge in. However, did you know that despite being delicious and smelling good, fried food […]

    • Cooking vegetables using Oil is an important part of cooking. The vegetables are generally fried for taste. Sometimes people prefer deep frying. Frying vegetables is not good for health as many of the nutrients in the vegetables and other food items will become less effective and instead of doing good they do harm. This is nothing but purchasing unhealthy by spending money. If the vegetables or food items are not cooked using frying methods the loss of nutrients will be very much less. Hence, the cooking procedure suitable for the preparation should be adopted.
The refined oil is meant for frying the items as the loss of nutrients while frying will be lessened using this oil.
Refined oils will be very different in their properties.
      They will have less weight
      They will have less density
The fat content in the Oils will be less when compared to Ordinary oil
The calories will also be very less.
The oil will be quite free from other impurities.

It is these properties which make them more preferable by the people than ordinary oil. The health problems like stroke, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes can be kept at a distance by using Refined oils.

There are many different refined oils like Groundnut oil, Palmolive Oil, Avocado Oil, Virgin oil, Canola Oil, Coconut Oil.

One should always remember that any food vegetable or non-vegetable will lose its nutrients whenever it is heated. The loss of nutrients will be directly proportional to the degree of heating. This loss of nutrients will be different for different refined oils. This loss of nutrients will be very less when one uses refined Palmolive Oil. Therefore, many people suggest and prefer Palmolive Refined Oil than using other refined oils in India.
Usage of Virgin Oil is, of course, is preferred but is confined to only rich and wealthy families in view of its being quite expensive

However, it is best to avoid deep-frying or frying of vegetables or non-vegetables while cooking the food items and it is better they are minimized as low as possible.

    • That’s because olive oil is considered the healthy oil.
So, how do we kow if the olive oil in the market is the refined oil. Does it have a mark like that?
What about virgin olive oil as it is the most that i see in supermakrtes, can using it in frying will have the. same health benefits as the refined oil?
Canola oil is also what is being said as healthy or good for frying. It’s what we use for frying because it’s much cheaper that olive oil.

    • Oh that is indeed an irony. Saudi Arabia ia known to be a very rich nation and mostly, are muslims.
Yet, it issosad that they cannot share their wealth with their fellow Muslims, who were refugees, because they fleed their country where they can be killed.

    • It is clear the kind of bias and hatred Saudi have for their ‘brother’ Muslims. Brings the whole Kingdom into disrepute, and prompts Europeans to say, if Their own people don’t want them why should we take them?

    • Actually, my hubby and I bith work when our daughter was still a baby. We hired a helper/nanny to take care of her. Then, we let my father-inlaw who was retired already, o come and see how the nanny is taking care of our baby.
Though, when our baby has to go to the doctor for her regular check-up, I go on leave. When we come home, we make sure that she’s with us , playing .
we are proud she grew up smart , kind and god fearing.
Growing up, she only asks us when she canntunderstand her homework, which is a rarity. in every event that we are needed, we take a leave of absence from school.
At least we, are still always by her side as she was growing up.
She’s now a doctor and was a scholar since she graduated primary grade until she graduated in Medicine. 🙂
That’s how modern is our way of raising her up.

    • That is one side, for I was in the same position as you when my children were born… working.. but.. I didn’t raise my child in the ‘feral’ style. She got a few smacks and learned quickly to behave herself, so she was no problem. But many parents who practice the feral style, you know they never hit the child, they never discipline the child… the child will throw him or herself on the ground if they don’t get their way.. also often has parents who have their own lives and the child either joins up or is left out.

A friend of mine was very important in politics.  Whatever her past, I don’t know.  But she was in her late forties and had never been married.

She was active in politics and hadn’t that much education, (which w […]

    • This is what actually happens in life. Marriages are taking place not between the persons but power/finance. If we eliminate these two factors, the real meaning of marriage will arise which is impossible to be found in most of the cases.

It does not mean that both the bride and groom should have a glow on their faces. We cannot draw any conclusion if the glow is absent one for there may be many reasons.

But, what actually springs up after a marriage is important. How they live, how they adjust themselves, the understand, give and take policy, mutual respect,..everything determines the bond between the couple.

The glow, happiness, thrill, appearing on both the faces of bride and groom are all the days of past in the marriages where the elders were participating along with their families consisting of kids playing here and there, shouting loud, singing songs, etc. everything was making the atmosphere giving it totally a different look. The receiving of guest with respect, friends cutting jokes, somebody making some comments on bride and groom, some mischief by bride’s side and also from groom’s side were all bringing a life even into a dead silent atmosphere. They actually make things happen even if one does not want and finally those who do not like to participate in the event programs with enthusiasm will take some pleasure at least by viewing them. The whole atmosphere brings some change in the mental set up and activity.
      These are all totally absent.
This clearly shows that it is not the money and status that actually binds two persons but only the feeling of ‘OUR BUT NOT YOUR AND MINE’.
Any marriage should sow the seed of ‘OUR’ for a happy married life. How many are the marriages planting this seed?`

      • I think there are a lot of marriages for money and property and not love, and the families are either unaware or part of the scam.

    • I’ve been to weddings where the look on that Bride’s face was anything but happy… both ended in divorce.

    • I could understand the feelings. We can not take a solitary example to draw conclusions. This can be a tool to ventilate our grievance and express our hatred against a Ruler whose decision is affecting millions.

He has been making this promise along with some more from the start of his election campaign. No one has paid any heed to them Those who believed and reposed trust in him had voted for him as they had not seen anything special in the promises of Mrs Hillary.

Even after his victory, people took a very light of his promises as casual and routine dialogues made by every candidate during elections to gain votes.

But, Mr. Trump turned out to be quite a different President, unlike his predecessors.

    • I have tried to watch this series so many times, and I can’t seem to get past episode 5 in the first season. I’ve been told by so many friends and family that the series ends very strange, but luckily no one has spoiled it for me by telling me the ending.

I keep telling myself that I’m going to start watching Season 1 from the beginning again, because it’s definitely a series where you can’t get up and go do something in the kitchen, or fix yourself a quick bite to eat while watching it, and be able to keep up on what’s going on. I think that’s what I did when I watched it the first few times.

Maybe I’ll try watching it again soon, because I heard it was a good series, but just the ending was bad.

      • When you watch online, you can start, stop, and rewind. So you can see something… ‘what?’ and go back, see it again, stop, think, ‘get it’ then go on. It is a specifically puzzling series made to be puzzling….made to force you to think.

    • I absolutely agree. Having that enticement to be on the front page, motivates each one to write better so their article will be on the front page.

I used to be on the front page on the famous defunct site. The more that I am there, the more that I am motivated to write substantially and something that many can relate so they can give their insights on the topic therein.

Hopefully, admin will have this implemented too in the near future.

      • It is time to change the front page. There is nothing there to catch the eye. They can shrink what is there now, move it down, and put the best items on the front page to catch the eye. This would attract more readers, and members.
