I do not know the country in which you reside. In our country you do get a twenty liter bottle which has to be returned to the shop from whom we buy the water to be replaced by a fresh 20 liter plastic bottle. The clean the old bottle will before refilling the bottle with fresh water and capping it then selling it back to customers. We…[Read more]

So sad, all the violence we are seeing around the world. When will we ever learn to live in peace?

    • I have had a busy past few weeks. I have been following the news on the most recent killings both in Dallas and the killing in NICE. It’s been terrible and I have recently been told of today’s rallies across the USA called, National Day of Rage. Can you believe this? Even Dallas is getting prepared and actually shutting down some businesses in the…[Read more]

    • Following the path to peace is a conscience decision. It’s not really that hard to do if everybody follows it. The reality is there’s some, all and none. Not all will follow that path. Some will follow it. Believe it or not. Life could be worse. Suppose none followed it?

Howth. It is a fishing area (bay area) here in Ireland that we usually go to during the summer months. To be honest, there is really nothing much to see there except if you want to buy fresh seafood from the […]

    • HAHA, I know! I also start to crave again for seafood after seeing the photos! We don’t regularly cook or eat it since the price is a lot more expensive compared to meat and vegetables. But it nice to have it sometimes, you know. 🙂

    • Crabby Joes is absolutely amazing, I live right on the beach so we have plenty of sea food restaurants and crabby joes is always on the top list of places I really enjoy eating at. The food is amazing and fresh and the desserts are even better. They have almost anything you could possible want to eat and the people are so friendly there its one of the best restaurants I could suggest to someone. I have to say tho I have always noticed a huge difference in the amount of food that the uk and ireland serves compares to what they serve over here in the USA especially here in the south. I am sure the food amount served here is tripled the amount they serve you over there and for the same price which is interesting.

      • Oh my gosh, you live right next to the beach area?! Jealous! We have to to take the 30-minute train ride to Howth just to get our hands on these amazing fresh seafood. It is not much but with a baby, sometimes it makes a difference, LOL! My husband’s been to NJ (on work assignment) and he loved being there because seafood’s really cheap! I think he always end up having Japanese for the fresh sashimi. That’s why he craved for lobster at the time we went to Crabby Jo’s cos he remembered his HUGE lobster lunch in NY!

    • I have never heard of a combination of chicken and banana. Corn flour binds and it is a right choice for making fritters. I have never tried chicken fritters. This is new to me. I will definitely try it. I love to cook and am happy that I have found something to add to my recipe book.
      Great post.

      • bestwriter,
thanks, I am sure you will love this recipe.
Yes, corn makes a good fritter batter, crispy and fluffy, better than plain flour
Chicken and corn mix with banana gives a sweet tasting flavor and good for bowel movement especially both corn and banana.

if you don’t like banana, you can opt it out.

Really nice snack for afternoon teatime with beverages

    • If you have flour and/or corn meal and cooking oil, you can work wonders throwing all kinds of friendly food into the mix. 🙂 Flour, fritters and fun!!

Instead Facbook, Twitter and TSU were the worst sites that had never helped me but I still use them.

@lovern It depends a lot on what people mean when they suggest publishing a “rant.” Strongly negative content is actually quite hot right now – negative titles perform better than the same title restated as a positive. And there are some writers and TV personalities who are known mostly for their rants. Canada’s Rick Mercer comes immediately to…[Read more]

Yes I love burgers over the grill too, mustard, BBq sauce , toss with chopped onions and green peppers.

Grilled chicken wings are my kids favorite, a simple oyster sauce, light soy sauce and black pepper will do the job.

@lookat Nobody will publish a 300 pages novel for 35 cents!

Writing itself is not hard.  Writing for money to put food on the table is hard, because after the publication of a book, the writer has to find ways to sell more books.
