This disease is increasing day by day at least all over the world I this it is due to our negative thinking that makes brain upsets day and night but a few people know it and think about it.
The majority of people affected by borderline personality disorder (BPD) engage in a form of self-harm known as non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). Underlying reasons for this behavior can vary widely from person to person. In a study published in the journal Borderline Personality Disorder and Emotional Dysregulation, researchers examined the factors that help predict non-suicidal self-injury in young adults affected by BPD.
The researchers concluded that some classic borderline personality disorder symptoms are linked to increased risks for NSSI, while the presence of other BPD symptoms apparently reduces the risks for self-harm participation.
The term non-suicidal self-injury describes any form of significant self-harm that’s not intended to result in loss of life. Specific potential forms of self-harming behavior include cutting your skin with knives or other sharp objects, burning your skin, punching yourself, headbutting stationary objects and scratching through the top layers of your skin.
Some people engage in a single form of NSSI, while others engage in multiple forms. While some forms of non-suicidal self-injury are relatively minor, others merit the prompt attention of a medical professional. However, most self-harmers do not seek medical attention for their injuries.

My friend’s daughter a schizophrenic stayed with me for 6 months as her mother had problems dealing with her. I also found it difficult to handle her. I sent her to a halfway home. She spent a year there. Today she is back with her mother and is on medication which she has to take without break her whole life. She is normal and has a job.
It is the medicine that they have to take that can help them live a normal life.-
Yes, especially for an illness like schizophrenia – medication is an extremely important part of treatment. It’s great that she is now far enough along in her recovery that she is able to hold a job. As long as she continues to take care of herself and has support, she should be able to keep doing well.

You know, I hadn’t realized that people actually believe schizophrenia is caused by poverty! I’d never heard that one…
I used to work in one of several psychiatric wings of a veterans hospital, and most of my patients were schizophrenic. Some were the sweetest, gentlest guys you could ever hope to meet. I never felt unsafe with any of them.

Schizophrenia is nothing but terror in human soul causes Schizophrenia in mostly women not in men if is but less. I think that schizophrenia is a mental disorder that generally appears in late adolescence or early adulthood. Characterized by delusions, hallucinations, and other cognitive difficulties, schizophrenia can often be a life-long struggle.
Individuals with schizophrenia may hear voices that are not there. Some may be convinced that others are reading their minds, controlling how they think, or plotting against them.
This can distress patients severely and persistently, making them withdrawn and, at times, frantic.
Others may find it hard to make sense of what a person with schizophrenia is talking about. In some cases, the individual may spend hours completely still, without talking.
On other occasions, he or she may seem fine until they start explaining what they are truly thinking.
The effects of schizophrenia reach far beyond the patient – families, friends, and society are affected too.
Experts believe that an imbalance of dopamine, a neurotransmitter, is involved in the onset of schizophrenia. Other neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, may also be involved.

Mood disorder is not any disease but it is a spirit disorder. According to law of nature man falls ill when human soul becomes ill and its demonstration on the mood screen. It is said that face is the index of human thoughts, feelings and emotions.
I think mood disorder means that a psychological disorder characterized by the elevation or lowering of a person’s mood, such as depression or bipolar disorder. “true clinical depression is a mood disorder, which can interfere with everyday life for an extended time”
Mood disorders are a category of illnesses that describe a serious change in mood. Illness under mood disorders include: major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder (mania – euphoric, hyperactive, over inflated ego, unrealistic optimism), persistent depressive disorder (long lasting low grade depression), cyclothymia (a mild form of bipolar disorder), and SAD (seasonal affective disorder).
People are more easily demoralized by depression and slower to recover if they are withdrawn and unreasonably self-critical or irritable, impulsive, and hypersensitive to loss.
Most people with major depression also show some signs of anxiety, and 15-30% have panic attacks. As a biological mechanism for coping with danger, anxiety creates a need for help or protection that may give way to despair if it is disappointed. Chronically anxious people may also medicate themselves with alcohol or drugs that can cause depression.

Think of the ‘martyr’ she who everyone has to feel sorry for and pander to. Think of the woman who claims that ‘her husband wears the pants’, yet does what she pleases when she pleases, and couldn’t care less what his opinions are.

We all come across such annoying situations specially when nothing is directed at us per se but work goes on behind our back. A case in point when someone who has been your friend suddenly withdraws and that happens when someone else woos that person away from you without your knowledge.
-
That is well said. passive aggressive people can be very annoying and they cannot be trusted. you can’t even entrust them with anything they can easily let you down, especially if it is something that you are doing together, these are the types of people who you can agree on something, then later on when everything has been arranged they pull off for very shoddy reasons.
