    • It is saddening that there are people in the world who could hardly have the necessities in life: food, clothing and shelter. What could their government been doing to alleviate the problem. Hopefully the United Nations or other rich countries will reach out to these poor people.

    • Yes you are right. It is really heart-breaking that there are so many people in other parts of the world that die from the absence of food, medicines and other basic necessities of life.

It’s really very ironic that in some highly develop countries; there are so many surplus foods, clothing and other basic necessities.

So many people in the develop countries spend most of their money only for luxury goods or items, when in fact half of the world population are living in want and poverty.

There are so many factors, both man-made and otherwise, for us to understand why poverty is rampant in these countries in Africa.

There is the level of economic development, the current system of their government, graft and corruptions among its officials, the fact that most of these countries were colonies or has been colonized by foreign powers, its natural resources as well.

Yes, there must be concerted efforts on the part of their respective government, other foreign government and other international organization such as the United Nations and the International Red Cross in order to alleviate their plight and present conditions.

What is needed I think is political will to make it happen.

Arnold Cruz wrote a new post, Are You In Favor Of Same Sex Marriage? 7 years, 8 months ago

The traditional conception of marriage as the foundation of the family and society is that it is a union between a man and a woman and the primary purpose of which is for procreation and the rearing of […]

    • No. I’m not in favor of same-sex marriage. If I were to favor that, I might as well be in favor of the end of humankind. And don’t give me that crap about “Oh! They can adopt kids.” If they could have their own children that would tell you there was no problem with same-sex marriage. It’s against the natural order. And we can’t change that! No matter how we try to justify!

      • Hi.I agree with your view to a certain extent. The “they can adopt kids” arguments reinforced the fact that same-sex marriages cannot really procreates children.

Why adopt someone if you can have child or children of your own? Talking about adoption, what will be the effect to the adopted child or children if they are raise by gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender with regards to their normal growth and development?

Under such a situation, there’s a great possibility that the child or children will imbibe or be greatly influence by the lifestyle or the personality of the adopter. That they will turn out to be gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender themselves in the near future is most likely to happen.

I was raised in a normal family—with a father and a mother—as role model. I know and I appreciate the respective role of a male and a female.

I am married myself and have a wife and a daughter. The way I and my wife is raising our daughter is the very way we are raised by our parents—by both male and female in the traditional way as we know it.

I know and I appreciate based upon personal experience how it is like to be raise within a normal family with all the love, care and support of my father and mother.

        • All of those parties engaged in a same-sex marriage had a biological mother and a biological father or they wouldn’t even be here! Just saying.

    • Mine as well don’t in favor of same-sex marriage, but I respect those lesbians, gays, tomboy, or whatever they termed those homosexual individuals.

It’s just that, God emphasized in His words that He only created a man and a woman who will be the fit partners.

With regards with this topic I want to share that some homosexual activists admit that they would like to destroy natural marriage by legalizing same-sex marriage. Since they refuse to live by society’s standards, they will only feel validated if they beat down those standards to the level of their own behavior. If they succeed, everyone in our country will be harmed in some way.

    • I am not in favor of the same sex marriage. Though they have sexual preferences, everyone could not accept it. It is against the norm, so to speak. Sorry for the gays and lesbians, transgenders, I am not against you as a person, because I have many gay friends and we go along well. But I could not accept marriage between them.

    • Mmmhhh what can i say,i cannot say that i was aware about nagging in the bible i only used to hear it from people that are around me. Probably its because i wasen’t married then to know what nagging is all about. But as i grow older i get to understand more and more.
First and foremost i wouldn’t say people nag especially when men say that women nag them so much. Its not nagging really the thing is when they ask for something once and its not done by their husbands thats when they will keep asking over and over again then the men decide its nagging bit thats not it ai don’t really agree. I will agree to some extend but not always.
