@Treatyhyl Fox  I think here at Literacy Base we can only share blogs that are written here and not any of our other blogs written elsewhere. @Support could clarify this for us.

No point joining a website with low minimum and the earning is very low.

It is better to focus on a site that pays, and has the potential to let you earn more.  Some in LB can make $20 to $30 a month.

They are better off focusing here than to join a site that has a minimum of just a dollar.

@Treathyl Fox  I do not have many connections. I therefore do not share. But sharing helps if one has many followers. At another site some of my friends have started sharing my blogs as I was not doing well there at all. There only views were recognised and nothing else.

Rajaraman K wrote a new post, What is Blood Pressure? 8 years, 3 months ago

Blood pressure is just what it sounds like: the pressure inside the blood vessels. With a normal amount of blood, healthy heart and healthy elastic blood vessels, we get a normal blood pressure. Low blood p […]

    • This is very interesting. I have low blood pressure due to medication I take for my heart. It can be as dangerous as high blood pressure since I can pass out easily. It’s a tricky balance sometimes!

    • I am on medication for BP and there are always side effects with these tablets. I am not a diabetic. There could be other factors leading to high BP.

    • We better have education and orientation of the right foods that protect us from blood pressure to rise from its normal level. There ae many factors that trigger one to have blood to rise.

    • My dad had high bp many years ago, on medications daily, pity him

    • in addition, he will be on medication for his lifetime.
He can’t skip or reduce the dosage, his blood pressure will shoot up higher and cause relapse

    • Actually blood pressure is the stay of air in the arteries and the pressure of air in the arteries increases and decreases is called high and low blood pressure.

In other words we say that When your heart beats, it pumps blood round your body to give it the energy and oxygen it needs. As the blood moves, it pushes against the sides of the blood vessels. The strength of this pushing is your blood pressure. If your blood pressure is too high, it puts extra strain on your arteries (and your heart) and this may lead to heart attacks and strokes.

There are two kinds of blood pressure as Every blood pressure reading consists of two numbers or levels. They are shown as one number on top of the other.

The first (or top) number is your systolic blood pressure. It is the highest level your blood pressure reaches when your heart beats.

The second (or bottom) number is your diastolic blood pressure. It is the lowest level your blood pressure reaches as your heart relaxes between beats.

We must keep in mind that Even if you do not have high blood pressure at the moment, it is important to keep your blood pressure as low as you can. The higher your blood pressure, the higher your risk of health problems.

For example, a blood pressure of 135 over 85 may be “normal” but someone with this reading is twice as likely to have a heart attack or stroke as someone with a reading of 115 over 75.

I always appreciate the women that have courage to fight it when someone is trying to take disadvantage of them. I know we have number of people in our society for a woman to fall into their lap with a little bit […]

    • Harassment is not good for women in any society because woman is love and power of God on earth but most of the people use women with wrong intention forgetting this they mothers, and sisters at home.

The way a woman is dressed does not tell you if she wants to be commented on. If she looks dressed up, do not assume it is to gain the admiration of all men she sees and that you should say something to her. She may enjoy dressing up, she may be dressed up for an event, or she may be dressed up to gain the admiration of a specific person or persons. Unless she has a sign on that says, “Please comment on my looks,” do not do it.

Stranger rape and harassment are real threats for women. If you find yourself alone with a woman in a deserted parking garage, road, or park, especially at night., keep a respectful distance and do not approach her.

    • lol
Some people claim themselves as social worker or volunteer but did nothing physically to help except verbally to help.
Advice is useful only when the heart matters, when someone is in need of help, only true friends would help, not social workers

    • People weakness on earth is fame and nothing else after this comes wealth and love is the last but they do not knows what they are doing God knows every man’s heart and awards his deeds’ award on earth. In his world man is driven by emotions not by reason when emotions candle burns the lamp of wisdom extinguishes automatically.

Social workers are human beings but they are lack of knowledge and do not know the realities of this world and do everything for ostentation and fame but they do something are better who do nothing in practical field.

Another benefit to social work is the ability to advocate in areas of passion. Someone with a passion for children can specialize in agencies that help children and families with children. Social workers interested in criminal justice may help ex-convicts as they try to assimilate back into society. Schools and hospitals offer additional opportunities for specialized social workers.

@Anand there is nothing ideal or perfect at this time as you know there is nothing permanent and one can do what he thinks is good within his own capacity. I prefer keeping my eggs in different baskets so it keeps me going in worst of situations.

@Anand  I don’t think that there is a way to get more than 35 cents on this site (1000 words or more) so I would prefer 300-500 words because that is the best way of earning on this site. My earning this month has nothing to do with lengthy posts or number of posts I submitted.

    • It’s too bad that your team left, but don’t worry at least you can still get a team to support on some other sport. I also feel sad that some of our teams have already left rio but we still have hope in our runners we hope that they will bring some medals back home. an as for our rugby players we know it was quite hard for them but we are proud of them anyhow.

    • That’s great thanks. But I’m afraid of nail remover usage, won’t that affect the skin?

    • I have many moles in my face but I wont dare to remove them because as I watched one program in our local television channel, removing your moles without doctors assistance is very dangerous and it might give you infections that will make your skin look ugly.

    • I may try with nail polish. I do have a few on my neck. Some recommend Epsom salt mixed with Iodine Not confident to do that.

    • There are so many remedies that we can get on the net for different things, but before we get to use this remedies it is good to check the side effects that come with them or else you could be doing your body harm without notice take care though.

    • I have tried the method of cutting off moles and I certainly agree it’s not for the faint of heart – they bleed a lot! I hadn’t heard of the nail polish method. I think I will try that on a stubborn mole I have under my arm.

    • Thanks for the tips, i would try one of them that is located on my arm

bestwriter wrote a new post, Homoeopathy and self help 8 years, 3 months ago

Homeopathy is treating a patient with tiny doses of a substance if given in large doses would produce symptoms of the concerned ailment.
Unlike Allopathy where self medication could prove to be dangerous, […]

    • Homeopathy medicines are the best medicines all over the world with the passage of time allopathy will disappear from whole world because homeopathy will uproot the diseases and its root cause from human life organs.

The law of similars states that whatever would cause your symptoms, will also cure those same symptoms. Thus, if you find yourself unable to sleep, taking caffeine will help; streaming eyes due to hayfever can be treated with onions, and so on. This so-called law was based upon nothing other than Hahnemann’s own imagination.

You don’t need to have a medical degree to see the flawed reasoning in taking caffeine – a stimulant – to help you sleep; yet caffeine is, even today, prescribed by homeopaths (under the name ‘coffea’) as a treatment for insomnia.

Despite being rooted in supersition, ritual and sympathetic magick, the laws devised by Hahnemann are still in use by homeopaths today.

For Hahnemann’s Laws to be correct, we would have to toss out practically everything we have learned over the past two centuries about biology, pharmacology, mathematics, chemistry and physics. Illnesses are not effectively treated by administering substances which cause similar symptoms; serial dilution and succussion does not ‘potentize’ a remedy. Water has no memory, nor any way of using one if it did! Homeopathy could never work in the way Hahnemann described it, but does it work at all?

Modern homeopaths believe that this ‘potentization’ process allows the water to retain the ‘memory’ or ‘vibrations’ of the original substance, long after it has been diluted away to nothing. Of course, there is no good scientific evidence to suggest that water has such an ability, nor any indication of how it might be able to use this ‘memory’ to cure a sick patient.
