Society Women and Harassment

I always appreciate the women that have courage to fight it when someone is trying to take disadvantage of them. I know we have number of people in our society for a woman to fall into their lap with a little bit of extra efforts in some cases.

Why do women who work in offices are seen as a sexual object? Why everyone wants a chance with her? When they say I love you do they mean it? Or it’s just time pass? Why women just keeps quiet and let the harassment continue? These are kind of stupid questions but asked invariably by our so called wise men on this particular topic.

Here’s why, if she goes to the committee with her complaint she will be judged. If she took time to gather her courage to complaint against the guy she will be judged, no matter what she will be judged, they will start with your clothes as if her clothes invited a man to harass her. As much as the issue of the women continues to rise, or as women are someone who have been simply written off by the so called Pundits of the society in their self-interest I feel the need to educate women folks is all the more important.

Going to the office in the morning, and there are few people around, a good opportunity to steal a kiss or two, I am not talking in romantic sense what should she do? Creating a scene is not option for her slapping the guy will definitely create a scene. So he says sorry and everything is back to normal, but what to do if it happens again this time in a corner of a room and again at a metro station if a woman says ‘No’ it means ‘No’, how do they find encouragement to do this thing at the first place? Is it because of their position? Or their family name? It’s all bullshit that should be stopped and the best thing is society is fast learning ways in the direction of empowerment of the women in different sectors.

However, the thing is women does not speak because before herself she thinks about her family though they will support her but they will also face embarrassing questions she is not weak she will speak, cry or shout because at some point seeing that person every day at work will break that dam? She will think of switching her job but why should she? She is not at fault here. She will gather her courage and speak this is for all the girls/women facing harassment speak up and you will be heard because if we will not speak they will get encouraged and try the same thing with another woman for her sake speak up.

If the committee is not listening, file your complaint you have three months to lodge your complaint since the incident happened, this complaint can be filed by any of woman’s relatives on her behalf or any other person who has a written permission from the victim to make the complaint or ever heard something called media just drop a hint to the news channel, a reporter not of the vulture kind of course, and then see. Why should we hide? Stop encouraging them. Just speak up aloud and register your complaint.
