When having to deal with a lot of challenges, we may not always know exactly how to deal with the challenges effectively, going off the “deep” end won’t help of course. That’s why it’s a good idea to take breaks […]

    • Challenges in life can either make us strong or weak; sometimes it can be an inspiration for a person to strive more and surpass the challenge; or he might succumb to weakness and failure.

As you said, prayer is good to keep a person strong and decide wisely on the challenges coming his way.

    • Challenges provide a person with a prospect of thinking of how to overcome them. It depends on whether the person is the one who thinks the glass is half full or whether it is half empty. As it is the first category of people who usually tide over the challenges they face whether they be big or small. The ones who keep pondering or thinking too much will let time pass by.

This is as good as doing the opposite which is jumping into the waters without knowing the depth. Generally I have personally observed successful people are able to turn challenges into success how one turns the pages of a book to read the next page. I think this is the attitude which makes them what they are. A nice article with useful information.

    • Very true. The way we deal with setbacks is greatly influenced by our surroundings. So, it is really important that we make our surroundings beautiful and positive.
Gather everything that develops a positive attitude and inspire you to get going. Setbacks and trials are inevitable in life but what can be controlled is the manner of dealing with it.

    • Yeah opsticles make one stronger. And yes sometimes live and negative people can bring us down sometimes. But there is always tommorow and the sun will shine again. So stand up! Stand proud! Lift your head! Face the world and say! Was that your best shot! Try again! Im still standing stronger than ever!

    • I am proud that I am a Filipina. That’s because the Filipinos are said to be very resilient people.

When a typhoon would hit our country, it would hit those light material houses of the poor Filipinos. They would be housed for the time being in evacuation centers.

But even if they were in that difficult situation, they still manage to smile in the cameras, whenever they were given relief goods by disaster organization and charitable institutions.

They know what to do in order to survive. They ask for help from the Local Government units, from charities and organizations. If they have exhausted them all, they would go to garbages and look for recyclable materials and sell them so they can have sustenance for their basic needs.

Amidst this situation, they have firm belief that God will provide and will make a way for them to survive. And they do survive.

      That’s how resilient Filipinos are.

    • As it is being told, “Happiness is a choice, despite trials, despite challenges.”

You deserve to be happy, yes, we deserve it. If you purposefully focus on what brings you happiness, on what your area glad for in your life you will find bits of happiness making their way in… before you know it, you will have formed a habit of looking for the happiness and it will travel more willingly with even through your worst days.

If the world pulls you down, just ignore and don’t let them remove the reasons for your happiness.

    • Yes, it is the best policy in life to stay with positive people and ignore those negative ones. When you are in a toxic situation, just be calm, composed and try to avoid those people who might influence you.

    • I agree with your points. Some of the time the topics don’t warrant 300 words. And that’s when we have to write the content in terms of the personal viewpoint. For many of us that seeems to be the only way. You can also use the references like someone else’s opinion and then comment on that. This way reaching 300 words won’t be a problem.

      • I have noticed that to some, to make their post be for about 300 words, they talk about those topics that gets them to enumerate things. That’s good, at least we can learn from them.

    • Thank you for posting about the earning capacity of blogs, my friend. That answered one of the query I have in mind for the past days, though @cely has already messaged me about it.

I like making personal blogs. The thoughts flow so freely as I type them. No need to make a research of facts that we are talking about.

Personal blogs are relatable , so a lot can comment back. At least, with the personal blog we can be assured they are not those researched and copied ones from some parts of articles on the net or a book.

    • Good suggestions to take into consideration. Thank you for giving tips on how to do our topic.

You are also right that it is easier to read the 300-word article rather than the lengthy ones.

I haven’t written a 500-word article yet. As you said, a 500-word article the rate is $0.22 or $0.00044 per word.

To apply the rate to 300 words, total earnings will only be $0.132 as compared to $0.15 earnings for a 300-word article.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I might just be confused.

    • good information my friend thank you for sharing.

    • Yeah, sharing blogs or posts can benefit us in a way that it adds up our earnings.

Aside from that, we can impart ideas to more readers that could be useful to them. It is beneficial to us writers as will as to our readers.

Great information @Tiada. Thanks for sharing. It will be a help to other literacybase members.

    • It’s in the site’s Help section. It’s being discussed in forums. People are writing blogs posts about sharing. I don’t know how many times this can be said. SHARE!! With all of that going on, this post just reminded me to share via LinkedIn. I have been a member of the LI professional network for several years. But while I remember to share via all my other social networks, I tend to forget about LinkedIn. Going to make a special effort in the future to remember to share with those folks too. 🙂

    • @treathyl FOX, yes, you are right, this topic has been discussed and talked for some many times. Just a tender reminder for each of us, to share our post beside writing only, as mentioned by @Nemzie, it’s not only for the benefit of bringing traffics to Literacy Base, also for the benefit of the readers to bring them some useful ideas and guides in their life.

And, a tip that might be overlooked by the newbies here too since many are just newly joined during these few weeks. Cheers!

    • This is actually something i wondered about the other day. I wondered if we shared and got extra views, if we would earn extra on the site. You just answered my question thank you.

    • I would share but i don’t have alot of friends or followers on my social media sites, so it wouldn’t exactly be helful for me.

      • It’s more helpful to not just you but to the whole community for you to share than for you to not share. You have friends. Your friends have friends. If you had to the courage to post here for others to read your content, why don’t you go the next step and share with others? We read your posts. Why won’t other people outside of the community want to read your posts? Your friends may not just like what you wrote but they might share what you wrote. If you already have the account it takes no effort to click share button. Try it. 🙂

    • I haven’t tried sharing any of my blog posts into social media, as I am thinking that my blog post is not good enough for the readers. I might just receive criticisms for my work such as wrong grammar or sentence constructions. Haha. But actually, I am also considering to do it, to give some boost to my slow moving earnings. Thank you for this information.

      • I speak English. I see a lot of bad grammar. I know for many here English is not their native language. But you’re braver than me because you at least try to speak the language. If I tried to write post in Hindi or some other language other than English, I’m not sure what the readers’ reaction would be. Would they laugh? Would the get insulted? Would they get mad? So your English isn’t perfect. Share your stuff. People are humans. They can understand misspelled words, incorrect grammar, etc. Even the non-human search engines pick up on misspelled words and include them in the results. Don’t hold yourself back.

    • I already share some of my approved post in Facebook and I earned $0.001 per visit. So, ask your friends to share your link to their friends. Who knows, they may like your post and if you get 1,000,000 visits, that is equivalent to $1,000.00.

We can dream if we want to.

    • Interesting. Thank you for writing this kind of posts that can help users, especially new users, manage at this site… 🙂

    • Actually I was not aware that you could earn sharing your post on social media. Just came to know about it, I had seen the sharing option but dint knew that you can even earn. Is it alright if we share it on group instead on our own Facebook account?

    • I did not know that you can share and earn by our posts on media, it is good point and this way we earn how much? i used to liek social media but now i feel its waste of time but if it going to make us money then kindly tell us more about how and when and which media that can make us more money

    • I have already learned this and have applied this technique to get some credits for my LiteracyBase posts. And it works. I have several social media accounts like the Facebook, GooglePlus, StumbleUpon, Twitter, among others.

In such activities, I had received a considerable credits and earnings accumulated to my LB outstanding balance. However, you should see to it that you have such different social media. What I mean is you have to create them or register there. The biggest sharing activity I have had is in the Facebook for I have more than 3,000 friends.

    • yes this is good information , when I do share my blog
i have trouble trying to share it on face book the share button is under
my lap top bar so I can not get to it . but i have no problem sharing it

Even with the designs of houses, I am not into the antique ones. I like the contemporary ones with minimalist touch, so the house will have the illusion of being spacious.

I don’t like furniture that are darkly colored mostly brown as antiques are. I like furniture that have colors that makes the house appear bright and spacious.

But good thing I don’t have a taste for antiques because they are expensive. he he he

    • Dear @Dina, thanks for reading and commenting my blog. I love to have you here.
I believe you going to cash out this month end too, right? Glad to seeing it happened to you and me.
The reason why I love those old stuffs, first, I think it is a waste if just throw them away or into the dustbin. It is not environment friendly, and wasted of the limited resources we have on the earth, right?
It just a choice of lifestyle, yeah, I go for postmodern style too sometimes, it depends. You are right, we are all try to be minimalist touch, but having said that, I think my house is a bit messy with some old books stuck in my book shelves recently, sigh!
Again, you are right again, I think my hunted goods are not antique too, as I am not affordable, I just shopped and hunted for old and unwanted goods of other, I guess. Haha!

    • I love antiques or second hand finds. I visit the flea market once a week usually.

    • I love second hand hunting someone’s trash is someone’s treasure goodwill stores are a great source of second hand treasures. I’ve got a friend that was remodeling her kitchen she wanted a unique island and found a second dresser made of cherry she sanded down restrained and put a granite top on now it is the showpiece of her kitchen. Yard sales are great spots for hunters as well. Nothing like finding a nice piece taking it home and making it into a great piece of furniture.
