I did not make it this time; hopefully next month when I can go over the minimum payout of $10. Anyway, I am just enjoying my time here, and payment is just a bonus! next time I can have it!

@Dina, yes, she might thought that it was uploaded there at the Media Library so anyone can use it. Removing that Media Library can be the best solution, as suggested by @michelle.

@Cely, the Admin/Support should really do something about these issues of plagiarism.It is one of the reasons why sometimes I do not want to submit my “favorite” photos or the ones which can qualify for a photo contest (based on my criteria of it!).

@mahesh, what I meant by personal photos are your own photos. Pictures that you took with your own camera! I failed to put some watermarks in some of it; but I have one, a hibiscus flower, yellow and another red with my name on it. “acelawrites” was etched on the flower, but still another member here used it. It is just fine in one aspect because he/she is promoting my name! ha ha ha!

But a photo of a resort which I took in one of my travels landed also in his/her post which is quite awkward because it has no relation at all to his content about education.

Just like what @michelle said, the admin or @support should remove the Media Library so people can have some sort of protection from people who just copy/upload photos from it!

Why can’t they use Pixabay free images?

@Cely, that person could be a fan of yours that’s why he used your photo for his blog! Or maybe because he was unaware that it was you who are in the photo! It was because anyone can just use the images uploaded in this site!

The admin/@Support should remove that feature where images used by other writers still appear there, and anyone can reuse it again!

So sad to know about those bad news. Just logged in from a week’s vacation. No internet in that island, (or I do not have mobile internet! ha ha ha); so this issue surprised me now!

I hope the admin (@Support) will take these things seriously and act immediately! It really feels bad when you see your own photos, or your own blogs being plagiarized by someone. Newbies who do not know you, like @Shavkat, will think that you were the one who plagiarized that post! So the admin should act at once before the culprit could copy/paste posts of legitimate members here.

And @lovern, I laughed once when I saw my “signature” gumamela flower with my name on it was used by another member here! I did not call my attention because online friends or members who can see it know that I own that photo! And this another form of “advertisement/promotion” for me! ha ha ha!

I did not post so much during the first and second week of April. Quite sluggish. I am at $5.7 something, still needs half to meet $10. Next time I can have it.

Congrats Cely and Michelle for redeeming! I did not reach the minimum payout because I was lazy during the first two weeks of April. Anyway, there’s always another month to make up! ha ha ha!

I write directly here, then copy/paste it on Free Online word Counter for the number of words. I edit first before submitting the post because we can not edit it after it has been published. Or use M-word for your drafts.
