Having heart is the knowledge that we can do something.

It’s the inner feeling that what we undertake, we can

accomplish. For the most part, all of us have the ability

to look at something and to know whether or not we can

do it. So in confidence, there is power: our eyes are opened;

our opportunities become evident; our visions become realities.

Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart.

Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.

Whether you think you can or think you can’t- you are right.

You have a remarkable ability which you never acknowledged

before. It is to look at a situation and know whether you

can do it. And I mean really know the answer….

The only thing that stands between a man and what he

wants from life is often merely the will to try it

and the faith to believe that it is possible.

You can do anything you think you can. This knowledge

is literally the gift of the gods, for through it you can solve every human problem? It should make of you

an incurable optimist. It is the open door….

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision

the fact that you can do something, you can do it – as

long as you really believe with1OO percent of your being.

The barrier between…. success is not something which

exists in the real world; it is composed purely and

simply of…. doubts about…. ability.

These, then, are my last words to you; Be not afraid

of life. Believe that life is worth living and your

belief will help create the fact.

Our greatest power is the power to choose. We can decide

where we are, what we do, and what we think. No one can

take the power to choose away from us. It is ours alone.

We can do what we want to do. We can be who we want to be.

You are searching for the magic key that will unlock

the door to the source of power; and yet you have the

key in your own hands, and you may make use of it the

moment you learn to control your thoughts.

You can at any time decide to alter the course of your

life – no one can take that away. Any person can

choose to activate real directions of the self. It is

true for every individual that at any moment he can

choose to become himself.

Nature is at work. Character and destiny are her

handiwork. She gives us love and hate, jealousy and

reverence. All that is ours is the power to choose

which impulse we shall follow.

We stand at the helm and know that we are captains of

our fate and not a slave of fate – reaper of our joys and gardener of our sorrows.

A man sooner or later discovers that he himself is the master-

keeper of his soul, the director of his life.
