Main Mistakes that reduce Earning Potential of Blog

What are the main mistakes that stop respectable bloggers from making more money from their personal or professional blogs?

For some time I was learning about the best way to blog, how to write, I even made a deal with people who edit my posts. It is a great experience and that for I am grateful for. With that said, even with help, my style is filled with mistakes, but I still enjoy it. To be honest, with the little bit of an effort everybody is capable of practicing daily and improving skill in working. The results can be surprising.
With help of blogging one can leverage hobby or knowledge and earn additional income, or have a part-time job. If you like to call it that way.
I learn that many users, both the writers and blog owners, make typical mistakes that can cause a catastrophe if not prevented in time. I don’t know if this is because of lack of interest or lack of knowledge. I shall say the combination of both.
One of the reasons is the lack of the new and fresh unique content. Some bloggers just forget to write every day and result is an obvious failure.Blog with unique, informative and high-quality posts can drive more traffic and earn good money because of the high volume traffic.
The second reason which is listed as one of the fatalities is the lack of captivating information. It is important to write something both useful and pleasant to read. Otherwise, nobody, including me, will stay long on your blog. Sometimes traffic fails because of low keyword optimization and sometimes just because it is boring.
The finest way to leverage one’s blog is to sell something on it on your own. This will make money better and faster, than simply pasting advertising units all over your blog.

    • The main mistake that most of the writers make while writing any article is lack of grammatical knowledge and a wide range of vocabulary treasure. Most of the writers have no ideas about anything how they can write articles with new ideas. Increase knowledge information reading different books and articles and make their scanning the main hypothesis of the read article. Keep in mind fresh contents rest on fresh and new ideas and the words are the slave of new ideas. Many people cram may English words but they cannot write a single line of any article because they are lack of ideas. JH Sayyar

      • Yes . I do agree with you Jhsayyar. It is only by reading various writers and Bloggers one can have a good knowledge of blogging or writing. A good writer plays with words. This is out of experience. One need not worry if he can not write. But the zeal and a flair for writing should be there. At one stage he makes an effort and becomes successful .

I think that the Grammar part is though essential it is not an absolute requirement. Unfortunately many good sites lay emphasis on Grammar. So attempting such sites will only disappoint and discourage a newbie. He should write to small sites in the beginning. Participating in the discussions, give comments using various words wit different expressions. This will instill in him the confidence required.

I think after some practice the Grammar part comes out automatically . Learning grammar exclusively for writing purpose will not make one an Unique writer.

    • I agree with you.I think we learn with the time.I am new to this site i dont know how to write properly.I am here to improve my self as much as i will write i will improve day by day. When i write my 1st article i was so confused how and what to write.I will be happy if you guys will help me out and correct me where i make mistakes

    • writing skills are very important.I have seen here and read some post you guys have wonderful writing skills impressed me alot.i make mostly grammar mistakes.I am working hard to improve my writing skills i hope more i write better i will become.

    • Whatever it is, my point in writing is writing a quality blog which observes the mechanics of using a correct grammar. I have read most of the write-ups which are intended to earn money are filled with errors in sentence construction like the subject-verb agreement, incoherent, wrong spelling, improper choice of words, among others.

    • yes you are right.mistakes are there because its our native language, some of them are in a learning process like including me.So at begining everybody make mistakes. Its been always my problem spelling mistake specially.i struggle in this area alot, even when io was at school and college i always had trubble with wrinting and spelling.I worked really hard and i feel that i am improving day by day.

    • @jhsayyar I think my friend that you just summarized my entire article in a few well formed sentences. I agree completely that lack of ideas, originality and most of all all teh horrendous grammatical mistakes and fault style can shun all readers from teh webpage. It is no wonder as many of readers are native and they expect a certain level of professionalism.

    • @shivamani many professional blogs depend on well-written articles for their daily bread. If any of their earnings on teh stake they will rather refuse many badly written articles but publish some to preserve quality and satisfy demanding audience. There are so many well-paid websites which unfortunately do not accept international writers out of fear of teh same reason.

    • @atiqkhanumvi learning with time is essential. Give yourself some courtesy of space and time to adapt to language. Many native writers will experience writing block and lack of ideas, even with a good solid grasp on the English language as it is their own. We others international writers have to fight both diversity of topics and language. I always think I have learnt much but in the end of the day, I see how little it is.

    • Those who know how to express in words are successful on earth and everywhere because they know how to express self before the readers in words but it rests on natural talent not on artificial talent or cheated materials.

The people you meet and connect with in real-world settings are far more likely to naturally lead to discussions about your blog and ways you can help each other. This yields guest posts, links, tweets, shares, blogroll inclusion and general business development like nothing else.

As a blogger, you're likely to be sending a lot of email out to others who use the web and have the power to help spread your work. Make sure you're not ignoring email as a channel, one-to-one though it may be. When given an opportunity in a conversation that's relevant, feel free to bring up your blog, a specific post or a topic you've written about.

I find myself using blogging as a way to scalably answer questions - if I receive the same question many times, I'll try to make a blog post that answers it so I can simply link to that in the future.
