Love yourself

There is never an attempt made to tap one’s  own resources when it comes to managing  life. We always want to be pampered by others little knowing that if we dig into our own resources we could do a better job for ourselves.  But it is human tendency to depend on others. Also those who do not depend on others do not get the so called love and are labelled as over smart. 

And yet there are situations when no freedom is given to think for oneself messing up people’s lives.

There are other  times, however, when one is forced to depend on one self and then realisation dawns that the best help that one get is from oneself. The following poem says it all

LOVE YOURSELF

When you are left alone to fend for yourself
When those that you cared for put you on a shelf,
The best of the best comes out of you
Your life gets a hue totally new

Your limbs become stronger, your mind alert
You no longer worry; you can handle the hurt
The artist in you comes to the fore,
You can write and paint as never before

You choose to discard what bears you down
And pick only that that takes away your frown
Life is great you happen to find
Tis easy to relax and truly unwind 

The dark clouds that were are there no more
Its peace and quiet that touches your core
Its your time to do whatever you please
Giving your life a renewed lease 

He will be there when others flee
He is your support He helps you with glee
He walks with you through thick and thin
He is there inside you just look within.
