Love! What the world doesn’t know

I was told a story in my childhood. 3 saints once visited a house. The door was opened by a female who welcomed them. The saints realized that her husband was not present. They decided to stay and wait till his arrival. Finally, the husband arrived and told the saints to come in.

“There are 2 conditions: First, we won’t exit once we made entry. Second, you can’t invite all 3 together – you can invite only one.” – said one of the saints.

The man told them to introduce themselves.

First one replied – “I am money bringing riches wherever I go.”

Second one replied – “I am success bringing cheers wherever I go.”

Third one replied – “I am selfless love. That’s it.”

The man went inside and told all this to his wife. Wife suggested inviting success. Husband however wanted to invite money. The 2 couple had a daughter who was silently listening. She interrupted and said – “Listen. If success comes alone it brings arrogance. If money comes alone it causes enmity among individuals. If love comes alone, it brings peace. It would be better to invite love.”

Her parents liked the proposal and the third saint was invited. The other 2 too followed.

Story ends…

This seems interesting story. If we love each other, we would probably seek to end individual conflicts thus finding a way to mutually succeed. Thus success follows. Love is mother of trust and peace. So, love and success together bring money too.

Easier said than done. No one knows what love this story talks about. Love is the most misunderstood concept these days. A poet once commented – everyone speaks of love but no one knows what does love mean. If people understand the true meaning of love, probably murders will nowhere happen.

Love we follow these days is a misnomer actually. That is madness and not love. We misunderstand the concept of love and we cheat ourselves and others for this love. GOD knows what crime we did commit in the name of love. Love is different than what we all did so far.

Love is not a food crop; so you cannot grow it on agricultural land. It isn’t a commodity either therefore, it won’t be traded in the open market. Yet, it does not come for free. Love is daughter of sacrifice. Not all can manage to sacrifice but everyone does speak of love. That’s a funny part. Love is a pure and divine concept which is allegedly modified for selfish needs. You can blame modern time for that.
