I am a newbie of this site and I am on my way to learning about the site. When I register on the site I checked on the confirmation so I went to my yahoo mail to check the confirmation. After that, when I log in on the site, I saw I was credited 0.01.
I browsed the site and I read some blog that I saw, unfortunately, I don’t understand. I checked on the forum, I can’t post. I learned that you need to join the group before posting your reply.
What I did was, I went to all the forums and I joined every group. This is for me to be ready to reply to forum and discussion, no more clicking Join Group tab.
I saw that my balance was not moving. I wonder why? I responded to one forum and I did not receive anything. I left the site.
It took me a bad news to come back to the site and try to study it. I am trying my best to learn the site as soon as possible as I started sharing my referral link to my dear friends and one by one they are joining, Oh no!
This is what I learned so far.
To check your profile, you need to click your name below the Hello word. On the profile, you can see different buttons or tabs.
Activity is for your posts, what forums do you join/reply, added friends etc.
Profile is where you can find your referral link and the number of people you refer. I have 20, woot woot! Thank you, friends, for the trusts. You will also check your balance there. The other ways to check the balance is on the upper right side of your screen that says Available Balance.
Notifications, this is a message to notify on the reply on your activities. You get notified too when someone replied to your updates or forum started, a notification in orange color will appear on your screen. Unless you haven’t click on the notifications, it still there even if you refresh the site.
Messages, that is the part where you will receive messages from people around here.
Friends, it says the number of friends you have in here.
Groups, the number of groups you joined.
Forums, these are the forums you started. I guess the other ways to check the replies of people in here to your started forums.
My History, this one is very useful because if the site doesn’t have this I would not understand the rates. From what I see on my history, these are what I found out.
0.01 for logging in
0.005 for replying to forum
0.01 for starting a forum
0.001 referring visitors
0.001 updating your profile.
I don’t know what is the rate of a blog as it needs approval. I am just trying it out for this blog.
Adding friends does not have any rate?
Settings, this is the part where if you want to change your password once you reset it.
Media, this is the gallery of your photo. Haven’t tried this one.
I haven’t tried created group so I can’t say what kind of rate you will get from it.
Please take note, this is my first day observation of the site. I hope in little way it helps you to survive your first day. I will still do some review after a week if I learn something.
See you around.
My advise, if this is your first day, read the About Us and FAQ to know the site better. It pays through Paypal once you reached $10 every 10th of the month.

Indeed very handy guide for new comers, we can hope that your post will help them determine the potential. However I have to disagree with the Points section. Since there is not specific what you can earn from LiteracyBase. Every comment and discussion has points obtained from the quality and quantity of the post or reply because it has the algorithm to evaluate. Even you can earn more by responding to any discussion with great quality and quantity. Even you can get more from comments. Every blog-post has different earning consequence. Keep experimenting and share your thoughts.
Thank you for providing insight about the points rating. I have to agree to it since I am getting 0.01 on some short ones and 0.02 on the detailed/specific reply in the forum. @Support
sis, congrats on your first blog approved. Seems that it took 1 day to approve, right?
Actually sis, I thought this one is not approved. I remember to check my blog while clicking my blog dashboard and it is now on live. I am glad. Yes it is 24 hours.
Thanks for explaining it well. I also note that there is a support staff to reply when needed. I hope my blog also gets approved soon. It was just a test post and I wanted to know how much I would get before writing seriously.
I am not even written this blog appropriately. Did you happen to see my wordings? But for sure everytime we blog, we need to create the one with quality content. We need to be always on the quality content.
Very informative sis!! Good to see @Support also being involved with the topic. Always nice to see administration involved with the site. I think the key is to be interactive, as well as actively blogging and making new groups/forums.
That is why I find it amazing because Support is taking care of the site. I am glad there is someone like Support to be visible around here. It only means that the site is well maintained. You know us, sissy, we always want admin or support to always be around.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I am still testing the waters and reading guides as yours will really help new members. Good luck and I hope your efforts are rewarded.
@support is right. As a regular writer for this site, let's monitor our writing activities to find out how do we earn in creating a group or forum, in commenting there. Also, let's find out as to how much do we earn in reacting/commenting to a blog post or in creating a blog post. In my observation based on what I have been doing here, the giving of coins earned is not fixed. It depends on the quality of the post, of the comment the writer made.
As I'm reading these posts, I'm starting to realize that apparently there was some sort of 24 hour delay for your posts to be approved, before you received any upfront payment? Is this correct? And now they are approved automatically?
This is great thank you for this, I have just joined and was struggling to understand parts of the site. Although it is part of the fun of joining new sites :)
This is good information, thanks for posting.
