Literacy Base is new and raring to go.
I just could not vouch for this statement that Literacy Base pays until it actually happened.
I got paid on 10th as promised.
This augurs well for the site as fulfilling promises made such as this are the base for any site to make progress. Users make claims that they just want to write for the fun of it and this is not true.
There was a site that suddenly stopped paying and the field was empty overnight despite so many users making claims on that site that payment is not important for them but making friends, learning from each other and interaction is why they were there. They were bluffing looking at the empty field soon after the announcement was made that the site will not pay.
Literacy Base knows that despite all what is available on this site – exchange of news and views, a pleasant interaction – payment is the main reason any user will be seen on writing sites.
I have seen inumerous sites closing down because of the same reason.
Not that every user depends on this money for their survival but there is joy when one sees payment at Paypal. Kind of an incentive to write more.
The categories actually helps us come up with topics. Atleast I get my ideas from there.
Literacy Base has put its right foot forward and going by the increase in membership confidence is being built up.
At Literacy Base navigation is cake walk. The moment I login I can just participate without any hitch. I specially like the speed at which images get uploaded and there is no limit to the number of images one can upload be it a post, a group or a forum.
There is great opportunity to earn besides creating blogs. It is a pleasure to see the bank grow as one gets active which is rare at other site.
A word about members. So far I have not come across any rude member. In fact members here go all out to help each other.

I have been on many sites. I like it more because it is a blogging site and also we have a place to just chill out such as in Groups
Literacy base is a fun place, and indeed, the design is helpful for getting more ideas and write more on different topics. I like their formatting, and their way of introducing content to the users. And one can make many friends here.
I like the friends part too. All of them are friendly and helpful.
@bestwriter I think it's good that you included a mention of the atmosphere created by the members, here at LiteracyBase. Some sites have a great set-up, but the community is unwelcome or the members are not terribly active. Most of us prefer a warm, welcoming, and active community on a social writing site. This is certainly the case on LiteracyBase!
I have yet to come across anything that could disturb the peaceful atmosphere here. Hope it continues this way.
It's up to all of us to keep up the positivity. If we have an issue with another user, it's best to PM them and discuss it in private. This will prevent people from creating a hostile environment here. It's sad when that happens :(

As a newcomer on this site I am glad to learn that you received your payment. I agree with you that being paid for writing is important. Despite the fact that establishing relationships is ultimate for some, so is getting paid for all the work that we put in our writing.

It is good to hear that the site pays. If it doesn't pay, I am pretty sure that the members will begins to rethink and find other sites to earn extra income. I am not a hypocrite person. I tried this site to have extra cash and make new friends.
Those that are not depending on these earnings also want paid as that sound of those coins jingling is a sweet sound :grin:

I had received mine too and best of all, no paypal fee deduction!
I will continue to write at LB for a long long time if this site permit so.
However, I shan't force myself to hit $20 in a month.
With $10 per month, I am pleased.
Hope that LB will stay long as Hubpages did.

I am aiming for at least $20 next month. Since I have already crossed $10 mark for this month, I think will be able to achieve my goal.
