Mothers often complain that their kids often don’t take certain foods.
It has been observed that some kids don’t even like the smell of milk or some food to which milk has been added.
Some others are affected by the appearance and colour of some food. There are some others who would refuse to eat if their food has not been served in good looking pots and dishes.
Their mothers sometimes get irritated by this behavior. Some of them try to solve the problem patiently, but there are some others who try to face the situation with some harsh words and punishment which sometimes takes the form of physical thrashing, but this is not the proper way to handle it.
Use of force may cause harm instead of benefit. So use of force is not a better idea in this regard rather we need to find other feasible solutions to the problem.
Steps to overcome the problem:
1 – We are aware that children are often fed up when they are given one sort of food daily. For instance if we give them a glass of milk regularly ,they won’t like it and would perhaps refuse to take it.
So mothers should not be upset. They should give their child something different, I mean some food like custard or porridge may be a good choice in this connection.
2 – It is a fact that kids like fruits. So we can prepare them a new dish containing fruit. Children would definitely take interest in this combination of flavor, color and good taste. I am sure this will reduce the troubles faced by mothers.
3 – If our children are grown up, we may tell them how milk is important for them, how it helps in their grown, and how lack of it might weaken their body.
You can try some other tricks in this connection.

There may be many reasons when kid refuse to eat foods at homes and out of homes but the are different according to kids' mentality and mood. In my experience and specialized feeding education,
I believe there are 5 different reasons kids refuse to eat. At the same time, it is common for several of these underlying issues to affect a child’s ability to eat well at the same time. Keeping that in mind, let me a explain in some more detail…
Although this may seem like the most obvious reason kids don’t eat, it is often the most overlooked. Well, at least it isn’t always explored deeply enough. When kids have a well documented medical condition or are visibly sick, it is obvious that their eating can be affected, but sometimes there are more subtle issues.
Two of the biggest culprits are acid reflux and constipation. Both of these very common problems for kids can put a halt to eating. Sarah Dees guest posted a few months back about reflux and it’s effects on an infant, but it can also have an impact on kids much older- even if they weren’t diagnosed as an infant. My older son has struggled with constipation since he was about a year old.
I have to carefully watch his fiber intake and when he starts to get a little backed up, his eating is greatly affected. Every time he has a bad meal, I have to ask myself, “Does he need to go to the bathroom?” The answer is usually, “Yes!” If you want more help on managing constipation
