How Can You Describe A Workplace-Office?

This morning, I asked my sister what would be my next topic. And then I suddenly asked what does she observed in their workplace, a call center. So she described it as a noisy place and is like a second home.

Then I was thinking, does it really feels like a second home? Because when you read some comments of employees who are working in an office, they say a lot of bad or negative things about their co-workers.

First I will give some of the descriptions of a home. The basic one is a family’s residence. Home is a group of family that lives together. Home is where you can feel sincere love where family members can sacrifice things for the betterment of other members. There may be some misunderstanding but cannot last for a very long time. Home is where you feel being cared even if you did a mistake, family members are always there to guide and lead you throughout. They will still stay with you and never talked at your back or curse you.

Now, going back to a workplace as a second home. Can you feel being loved? Yes, that might be because we can sometimes meet real friends in a workplace but not all the time. Once you had a grudge with each other, it is not easy to fix it. Of course, you can fix it but there will be a gap within your relationship. Sometimes, a misunderstanding with co-workers in an office will also be led to a forever misunderstanding or relationship cannot be restored.

In a workplace, do you sacrifice things for the betterment of others? That was a very rare thing to happen, right? Because most people do things for their own betterment. Some people in a workplace will sometimes pull down other co-workers just to go up and that is the reality. Although not all employees of an establishment are like that but most. All they wanted is to be on top.

So do you feel being cared in a workplace even if it means you commit a mistake? Of course not because people will only judge you and stay away from you. Though, most of the time, when we are working in an office-based, we have to be nice to everyone so you will not be out of place. We need to socialize with co-workers because it is an ethical way of dealing with them.

A workplace is just a place where pure business is involved. You rarely feel being at home in a workplace.
