God loves everyone, and wants all His people to live as He would want everyone to live. God knows if we love others the way He would love us, everyone will live in peace and harmony. Love is a short word that could be talked about for hours on end because love has no end.
Love thy neighbor sometimes is hard to do when our neighbors are far from being nice. We are taught in the Bible to love our enemies. God’s people should try to have the heart of God within their soul. When God’s people conduct themselves with loving kindness, it is not so hard to love those hard to cope with neighbors.
Our neighbors should not only be thought of as our actual next door neighbors. Our neighbors can also be our family members, strangers, friends and even our daily acquaintances. Trying to love our neighbors will probably cause trials to come upon us. God may have chosen you to be someone’s angel.
God’s people should try to treat people the way they would want to be treated. It is time the world learns more how to love than to hate. Hating others doesn’t help us become better people. Trying to love others even when they are far from lovable takes time and patience. The only way that can happen is to ask the Lord for the fruit of the spirit
.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (Revised Standard Version)
Pure love comes straight from heaven. The Lord knows what trials and joys we shall face daily. He knows if we ask for the fruit of the spirit we will have the tools we need to conquer our fears. The next time you feel the lack of faith or just feel uneasy about other things in this life ask God for the fruit of the spirit.
I pray this prayer daily and I can tell you that when things come against me I will handle each and every situation with the peace of God. I use to wonder sometimes how I remained so calm in certain situations. Then I would smile and remember that I asked God to put the fruit of the spirit onto me.
Patience and peace will reside within you when you ask for the fruit of the spirit.

Linda, this is spot on. I am going to share this. You are correct, only God can be the explanation for our fruits of the spirit. How can we as sinners love others? We are born selfish, but God can change that when we ask. So Amen to your faith and your writing. And I am so glad I met you, and Ray is so lucky to have you, and I am so glad you found Ray. I am inspired.

The fruits of the spirit how true. Love, peace, joy you name it all the good qualities that one would like to have. And I also agree with the saying that goes love your neighbour as you love yourself. Everyone deserves to be treated in a good way. No one wants to be maltreated. But how can we be able to love everyone around us without hating one or two. Yes it is very posse or if you ha the love of Christ within you it's all possible. This is divine love indeed, it's not easy to love someone unconditionally even when they do you wrong. You will always lament and look at it as being unfair when you have to forgo a them at some point. But that is what love is all about, it doesn't keep a record of wrongs, it doesn't keep grudges it knows no bounds so love without conditions or bounds and you will love happier.
Those who have in God in tough and critical situation God helps the man who have trust in God. Reading the whole holy books I conclude that there are two things to know on earth: Trust in God and Fear of God' These two words make for every men heaven on earth.
But see people have lost trust in God and fear of God have left human hearts these days men are making crime against human beings and nature knowing not this that nature takes revenges and its revenge is very dangerous on earth.
If someone trains his soul so from the soul will spring love, faith, hope, goodness and so and so. It is a very difficult thing in practical life.
May God award us two things on earth: trust in God and fear of of God.

Thats is what's needed in our broken world today. Its crazy nobody and i mean no body cares for there neighbor, not even a family member. We have become a selfish materialistic, money hungry Godless world. Its a shame. wow the fruit of the spirit, were is love I'm calling, were is peace I'm looking, were is joy I'm feeling. The only way to fix this problem is to pray to the all mighty and ask him to change the hearts of men.
