Grab the Chances even if you feel otherwise in some cases

Sounds funny but suppose you get a mail on 31^st March from a furnisher that invites you on 1st of April to their office with a message, “If you approach us tomorrow at 9.30 AM in our office we shall furnish your living room free of cost”. I am sure you will laugh at that offer and delete that mail. I know no one wants to become an ‘April Fool’ so rejects all such offers.

But what if one of your friends said he visited the furnishers’ office and won the offer despite knowing the fact that he was at the risk of becoming the fool since April the fist is All Fools Day. I do not have any intention of writing about April fool’s day but I just want to talk about missed opportunities and my favorite writer Tom Ayling.

I don’t know when and where the April Fool prank thing originated, but what I feel is that many people are just do it to derive happiness or to get a chance to have the fun on unsuspecting people most of them either their friends, office mates or family members.

I don’t suggest one should try hurting people or damaging their belongings or hurt them physically while playing April Fool’s pranks but everything else which is within fairness is fine. I had started a thread in a forum site a few weeks before asking its members whether any of them was ever tricked or tried to trick anyone on this day. I got a good response on that thread with almost everyone taking it sportingly.

Some people have really great ideas when they plan to fool their friends or family members but some of them try which are not only disgusting but can break the relations. But some of them are really unbelievable like the one I mentioned in the beginning.

Tom Ayling in his latest write-up wrote certain simple tips about writing. He gave few gems of the tips in his own unique funny style but each of them is something worth bookmarking. The one I choose for myself is-

“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. A missed opportunity is gone forever. Seize your opportunities”- Tom Ayling

In fact your friend did just that and won a gift worth $3000, but he took a chance against all odds. Let me say something that all of us know but seldom manage to accept the challenge when a good time comes to us to take charge of the situation that could change our life. But, let me remind you it’s never too late as there is always a time to change your attitude towards life.

I say take a chance when it comes to you next time and change your life. But while taking a chance never forget that human is slave of his desires so do not let desires take charge of you but keep your desires in control. Go for opportunities that come to you but don’t run after them.
