Almost all human beings aspire to live too long. This time there are foods that tend to tempt anyone savoring them and later found the foods bad for the health. These are foods sold in food courts or food chains. It is advised by food nutritionists, health experts and scientists to do the cooking.
There are foods that contain too much oil, preservative, meat, and others that harm the harm the human body.
There is a vegetable that protects the body and promotes life span. Parsley is very famous throughout the world, but only few know and believe about its benefits .This is just a very simple plant and looks so ordinary.
Parsley has a vibrant and delicious taste. It has wonderful healing properties often ignored. This is a highly nutritious plant that can be found year round in your local supermarket. A sprig of parsley could serve as a decorator of your plate.
Parley contains two types of unusual components. The first type is volatile oil components, including myristicin, limoneme, eugenol, and alpha-thujene. The second type is flavonoids, including apiin, apigenin, crisoeriol, and luteolin.
Parsley’ volatile oils specifically myristicin have been found by researchers to inhibit tumor formation in animal studies, and particularly, tumor formation in lungs. Myristicin has been found by experts and nutritionists that it activates the enzyme glutathione5-transferase, which helps attack the molecule glutathione to oxidize molecules that would do damage in the body. The parsley volatile oils qualify it as a “chemoprotective” food. It neutralizes particular types of carcinogens like: benzopyrene that is part of cigarette smoke and charcoal grill smoke.
Parsley is also a rich source of anti-oxidant nutrients. The flavonoids in parsley like lutein, have been found to function as antioxidant combined with high reactive oxygen containing molecules and thus, help prevent oxygen-based damaged to cells. Studies also found out that parsley anti-oxidants help increase the antioxidant capacity of the blood. Parsley is also a very good source of Vitamin C and the Vitamin A beta carotene.
Parsley is also good for the heart. It is a good source of folic acid which contains Vitamin B good source for the cardiovascular system. It helps process the system though which the body converts homocysteine into the benign molecules. Homocysteine is a dangerous molecule that can damage the blood cells in the vascular system. Folic acid in parsley’s volatile oils is also a critical nutrient for proper cell division. It is vitally important for cancer prevention in two areas of the body that contains in rapid dividing cells such as: the colon for men and the cervix for women.
Parsley is also a very good protector against rheumatoid arthritis. It is a very good source of Vitamin C that fights against the attack of rheumatoid arthritis. It is too bad to have painful knees due to this kind of sickness.

I always have this veggie in our ref. It tastes bitter, but when I cook this,it is half cooked. Also, it does not stay fresh for 2 days. It must be cooked once bought parsley. It rots easily. When you cook beef stew, try to place the leaves only after your cooking ware is removed from fire.Let it half-cooked and eat happily when cooled. Thanks for reading should there be readers out there.LOL.
I like veggies very much. Most of my food items are veggies only. The egg is preferred sometimes that too in winter .
Man has been struggling to have a good and long life. A long life without good health is useless and a health with a short life means there is no meaning for birth.
When I visited U.S I happened to see this in the Malls of Florida.I need not talk about the temperature in Florida . It will be very hot.
When I inquired about this leafy they told me about it. It is having some varieties. The leaves and some root type. The Parsley grows at temperatures of 25-30 deg. celsius. This is widely used in Brazil,Middle East , Europe and in U.S. In the U.S it is widely used in cooking. But in India, I have noticed it. It is only after reading this Article I just went back and could recollect the life I had in U.S some one year back.
In Eastern Europe, Western Asia, and in the Central Europe this is many dishes are served with chopped Parsley leaves on the top of them and also for topping the soups. In major Brazilian dishes, this is a must. It also contains Vitamin K, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A. Half a table- spoon of dried leaves of Parsley will be rich in Alpha Carotene and Beta Carotene.
The Sad of this is that the consumption should be in limits. Safe in normal food only.
Pregnant women should avoid the consumption of Parsley.
I did not know that parsely has some good benefits for the body. I oftenly use it and I love the smell especially really gives food a good aroma. I used to cook it just forthe aroma part of it and for garnish mostly. Now at least i have learned th3 benefits of cooking it in food and eating it very interesting i will now start using it more often with the thought of benefits on my mind thanks for sharing.
Am so much educated by this Informative article. Parsley seems to be the vegetable of the Present generation. Many seem to be Ailing for not Eating right.
I totally agree with you On the Eating of these parsley. I tend to have not seen them where I Come From
Parsley is also good for bad breath. A fashion model told me that. She said because they didn't eat much since they were trying to maintain their weight, the odor coming from their empty stomachs would sometimes give them bad breath. Their trick was to eat parsley. Health and beauty tip! :)
Barley is one of the best food for human health and its called ground energy for human body. Actually Although barley may not be as popular as other whole grains like oats, wheat, or even grain-of-the-moment quinoa, barley has some impressive health benefits. ...
Barley provides a range of important vitamins and minerals: fiber, selenium, B vitamins, copper, chromium, phosphorus, magnesium, niacin,
Barley is a major cereal grain, commonly found in bread, beverages, and various cuisines of every culture. It was one of the first cultivated grains in history and, to this day, remains one of the most widely consumed grains, globally.
Barley and other whole grain foods have rapidly been gaining popularity over the past few years due to the various health benefits they provide.
Whole grains are important sources of dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals that are not found in refined or "enriched" grains.
When refined, grains lose certain components (specifically, the bran and germ), which also removes most of the fiber and nutrients naturally found in most grains.
Choosing whole grains over their processed counterparts reduces the risk of several chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.
