Drug Test To Governmet Workers

“Drugs are a waste of time. They destroy your memory and your self-respect and everything that goes along with your self esteem.”― Kurt Cobain

The drug problem continues and it will stay for the next six month. This is our President Rody Duterte when he asked an extension for his war on drugs. So while the senate are busy investigation the extra judicial killings of the alleged drug pushers and users and while the international communities continue to criticized the thrash-talking president of the Philippines, people have been into some sort of transformation because they don’t want to be arrested or killed.

Drugs have been a big problem in the country and other countries, and that is affecting their economy.

So while there is war on drugs, there is also some transformation for some. And to support the government with the said program, some local government units in the provincial and municipal level are taking their part, err well, that is what they say.

In our province, one municipality directed all the government workers to undergo to a drug test. Well, the simplest drug test was done, in short. You know, testing your urine if there is some sort of illegal drug extract in it like shabu or marijuana. No one is exempted, from mayor to job order. The good and very favorable news is that no one is positive. Which means the more or less 300 government workers are not using illegal drugs. Next are the barangay captains, barangay kagawads, day care workers, nutrition workers and barangay tanods. No results yet.

In our province, the municipal mayors, vice mayors and the provincial workers (from governor down to the lowest ranking employees. I have heard the results for them are all negative.

Hey, this was supposed to be good news but why I see some rising eyebrows.

But anyway, the goods thing for them is that they are undergoing drug test—thought the result was negative.

    • I think it is better for all the government employees to undergo drug tests. However, I am starting to feel dismayed with the president's advocacy about illegal drugs. It is becoming overrated. There are so many problems in our country and he just focuses on this issue. In my opinion, he is wannabe of ex-President Marcos. He can never be him.

    • @SuperD,congrats for the employees in your locality are drug free. That would only happen if the mayor that is set to be the role model takes drugs. He/ she will surely sell drugs to his entire force. That is a very good news, at least there are some who are never tempted to use the illegal drugs. There are so many people in Philippines estimated to have 5 million drug addicts. I cannot fathom the mentality f these weak humans. This day, one movie actor was caught bringing 22 kilograms of marijuana. Mr. Fernandez denied about the drugs. But who would be the druggist who would just freely installed the drugs there. It seems Fernandez wanted to trick the police. He can never trick a police unless addict too.

    • @Shavkat, Hi friend? This is to clarify the issue you raised in your comment to the blogger Super D. The president already assigned the tasks to the people in his cabinet. You have to know the many changes that happened to Philippines, no more laglag bala in NAIA.No cigar smoking anywhere, there is curfew, Quezon city now become a ghost city unlike before so numerous crimes, the government has purchased 1 million hectare for rice production so the rice sold here will be cheaper, no more NFA rice to be sod for the rice dealer mixed them with Philippine rice. Because many like my president Duterte, San Mig donated 1 billion worth for rehab center, and unknown man, donated 1 billion for rehab, you may view thru goggle the appearances of these rehabs. The president has able to transform the drug addicts to a more productive citizens. They undergo training so when they are drug free , they will no longer go back to their past life, instead they can live with dignity.

If not Duterte the president, what do you expect for the image of our country.Just imagine our former justice, protector of the foreign drug lords, Delima, what do you expect , what do we all expect, none because we will never know. Let us be thankful instead to our president and help him fix our country. he is the only president concern for all Filipinos. If other countries support, why can't we? Just remember the saying: " Many works, different strokes."

    • What Mr.Duterte is doing is exactly what is the philippines required for. People will not listen easily and the pushers can not lose thier lucrative business so easily. The only alternative is to extinguish either the people or the pusher. It is only by eliminating the Pushers the check can be made to this problem. So he took a firm decision which his predecessors lacked and did not take any decision even in the interest of their country. They are all totally selfish and are all political crooks. The International communities and others selfish people may exaggerate the things but the President should not yield to such criticism. Often there will be some crooks who point out something out of nothing and something more out of something. Mr. Duterte should implement it even with an Iron hand and should teach a lesson to these drug Pushers.

    • That is so nice for your place, my friend. Here too, the mayor and all the employees were also given a drug test and it is said that none tested positive too.

This move of President Duterte in requiring all government employees to drug testing is one way to know if anyone amongst them is into the use of illegal drugs.

Though, I wonder if all policemen were also drug tested?
