The Dreams Belong to the Dreamer

It’s amazing how someone’s dreams can almost fall into another’s hands. People simply don’t care how much sacrifice to get where they are today. “Living the Dream” is something that one chooses and no one can say that their dreams are wrong but of course they can make suggestions but it’s up to the person whether they want to accept those suggestions.

For those who choose not to live their dreams should avoid telling others to stop living theirs. People should seek opportunities and when one presents itself one should embrace the “opportunity” and run with it. No one has a right to hinder or try to control another person’s dreams. Shouldn’t we be encouraging others to live their dreams? If we’re in no mood to encourage others then we shouldn’t be trying to discourage them from pursuing their dreams.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to live the dream and although people will scream for others to stop. Dreamers shouldn’t listen. Too many people listen to what naysayers have to say and they’ll become fearful and stop living their dreams. Don’t fall for the intimidation tactic. There’s lots of people who like to use such tactics. Even if those dreams take long. Go for the dreams.

Anything worth having won’t be easy. It will lots and lots of work. Storms will roll in but in the end it will all be worth it. Some may try to tell others that trying to pursue their dreams isn’t worth it. Those are the ones who haven’t lived their dreams or who are intimidated by those who choose to live their dreams.

Our gifts should be allowed to “shine” and no one has a right to dim the light. People can become so in tuned with other people’s dreams that they forget that they too can live their dreams. Opportunities can come quickly or slow but however those opportunities come. We shouldn’t hesitate allow those opportunities to slip away. Never be afraid to live your dreams and never allow others to stop those dreams from happening.

    • In some situations, a dreamer cannot fulfill their dreams. There are so many factors why people let the dream goes by. Some marginalized people cannot have their dream because they need to sacrifice things to their family. For instance, the eldest person cannot fulfill his dream just because he needs to let the other siblings have their dream first. It sounds unrealistic, but that's the fact of life. Once the other siblings fulfilled their dreams, then it is also a dream for the eldest sibling.
